Forest

(Y/n)'s pov

I screamed as I fell off the broom followed by Aero. I shut my eyes tightly panicking. I felt myself getting pulled into a different portal, I opened my eyes and saw my broom still flying, I looked down at Aero and made a decision. I pulled out my wand, I knew I wasn't powerful enough to get myself onto the broom. I used too much magic before, but Aero.

I flicked my wand from Aero to the broom, and Aero went flying onto the broom. Aero howled, obviously not wanting to leave me alone, but I didn't know where this portal lead to, it could be dangerous if he came. I shut my eyes as I saw Aero land safely on the broom. I felt myself go through the portal and wind whipping at my back aggressively.

I slowly opened my eyes to see I was going to land on the ground, I looked over and saw tall trees. I 'swam' through the air and landed on the high branch of the tree with an 'ow' I huffed climbing slowly down the tree to see Lotte, that silent chick, and Akko. I blinked

"Hey guys" I said nonchalantly hanging off the tree like a sloth, my beanie trying to hold my hair in place while gravity makes it hang. My beanie starts coming off and I quickly grab it with my hands holding it on my head falling from the tree landing on Akko "oops" I said getting up dusting myself off offering a hand out to Akko "sorry about that" I chuckled

"It's fine" she said taking my hand pulling herself up with my help. I shrugged it off and looked around at everyone. Who just stared at me

"Forest of Arcturus" said the pink haired one, I sighed putting my hands on my hips, as everyone else looked at her weirdly.

"Oh no! The forbidden forest!" Lotte exclaimed

"What is it?" Akko asked confused, we started walking through the forest following Lotte

"It's an ancient legendary forest. A holy place protected by magic trees" Lotte explained

"It's also home to very dangerous creatures" I said adding on to Lotte's explanation

"They say that once you get lost, even a witch has a hard time getting out" Lotte continues

"That's not good! We won't make it to orientation" worried

"Well, we might not ever get out" the pink haired one said, I nod in agreement

"Hey, don't scare me like that!" Akko complained

"She's got a good point" I said cheerfully. Akko looks over, I look and see all her stuff

"My stuff! I thought it was all lost!" Akko said happily running over to it. She picked up a few items and looks at a mandrake I didn't notice. My eyes widen and I see bubblegum hold her hand over her mouth trying to contain a smile

"Akko get away from that!" Lotte and I yelled worried for Akko. Akko turns around, not seeing the mandrake open it's petals to reveal sharp spiked teeth on the inside. She turns around seeing the mandrake and screams. Akko clumsily falls over to avoid getting eaten and slides backwards still facing the menacing plant. I jump down and grab her wrist dragging her up the small hill.

"Hurry!" Lotte said. I grabbed Lotte's wrist in my other hand and dragged them along. I was faster than most people because of the wolf power, but I made sure to stay next to pinky just in case

"What is that thing!?" Akko yelled panicking

"Mandrake" I said not slowing down

"A human-eating plant" bubblegum added "this way!" She said making a sharp turn, I skidded and followed her, easily catching up. The vines went the wrong way and needed to turn slower which bought us some time. Bubblegum, Lotte and Akko jumped over a root and down the hill. I made sure no one could see me and got the beanie off my head, the vines crawled forward quickly only to stop inches away from me and retreat slowly back. I slipped on my beanie, and jumped over the root landing safely on the ground at the bottom of the hill. I looked around and saw Lotte and Akko in a hamster ball made of rope
