Chapter 36

I don't move at all. I just stay on the porch for a couple hours. The only reason I got up was because all the girls (Zoe, Maiah, Riley, Olivia, Amanda) come over and over course they had to see me in this condition.

We all got inside and sat on the couch. Zoe sits right next to me, I put my head on Zoe's shoulder. I'm pretty sure I'm ruining her shirt.

"So what happened?" Maiah asks

"Well I found out I was pregnant."

Gasps went around the room

"Yes I'm pregnant. I decided not to tell him at first. But then when we got home I told him. And he started freaking out."

"Well where'd he go?" Olivia asks

"I don't know, but he said he's gonna need some time."

"I'm so sorry honey." Amanda says

"Well was the sex good?" Riley asks

I start to laugh

"Well was it?" she repeats

I nod my head rapidly. Everyone laughs

"Did you text him?"

I nod. "He hasn't replied."

Zoe gets up "I'll be right back."

Zoe's POV

I walk outside to the beach. I walk far enough out so they can't hear me.

I take out my phone and dial Theos number.

Him:

Hello?

Me:

What the fuck is wrong with you?! (I scream everything I say)

Him:

Excuse me?

Me:

What did you do to her?

Him:

Who Chloe?

Me:

Yes!

Him:

I just said I need time.

Me:

Your the one that needs time!

Him:

Yes

Me:

She gonna be going through hell these next 9 months just because YOU need time!

Him:

I just- I don't think I'm ready for a kid.

Me:

What you think she is? she is used to drinking and partying! and now she has to toss all that in the trash! And your the one that's not ready?!

Him:

Yes.

Me:

Your unbelievable!

I hang up on him and send a group message to Shailene and Ansel

Me:

Come over RIGHT NOW!

Shai:

More theo drama?

Me:

Oh you have no idea

Ansel:

On my way!

Shai:

Be there in a minute. Ps I'm bringing chocolate ice cream

Me:

You have no idea how much that will help!

Ansel:

Can I bring pizza

Me:

Yes I'm starving! 🙌

Ansel:

I meant for Chloe. But I'll grab another box 😊

I walk back inside.

Chloe sniffles "Where'd you go?"

"Outside for a sec."

"Ok."

She stands up and walks toward me. I bring my arms out and embrace her with a hug.

"I just don't know what to do anymore. I can't seem to do anything right" she crys

"Chloe do not talk like that! You do everything right! He just has mood swings."

She laughs.

Maiah says "Ya it's like he's on his period everyday of the month."

She laughs even more.

Pull out of the hug and look at her "is that a smile I see?''

She smiles even bigger.

"Does dad know about any of this?" I ask

"No."

I pull out my phone and call him.

Me:

Hey daddy

Him:

Hey punkin. Daddy can't talk right now I'm on set.

Me:

Ok just one last question. Do you know about Chloe and Theo?

Him:

Of course Theo told me and asked for my blessing if marriage. Plus it's all over magazines. I wish I could be there for the wedding but I'm busy shooting mocking jay.

Me:

Ok there's something else...

Chloe snatches the phone from me

Her:

Hi daddy have fun shooting mocking jay tell Jen and josh I send hi. I mean you could tell Liam too, it just might be awkward.

Him:

I know with your guys' history.

Her:

Alright bye daddy

Him:

Bye princess!

She hangs up the phone and hands it to me.
