Chapter 26

"What?!" Theo yells

"Yeah." I show him the ring.

"Shit!"

"What? Having second thoughts."

He doesn't answer.

"Theodore."

Still no answer.

I'm just about to snap so I calmly say "You know what, I'll give you some time to think about it while I go get ready."

I hop in the shower. Theo usually comes in with me, but right now he's not.

Once I'm out I grab my high waisted shorts, and a crop top. I then put on some light makeup, put my hair into a side braid, grab my vans and walk out to the room.

I see Theo on the bed with his hands on his head.

"Theodore. Are you having second thoughts?" I ask sternly

No answer.

"You know on the plane you were actually talking about how you were going to propose."

No answer

"Fine Theo! Here you can have your ring back!" I take the ring off my hand and throw it at him.

As I'm walking out the door I still hear no answer.

Theos POV

What have I done?! I wanted to propose, but it had to be in the right setting.

I get a text from Ansel:
What did you do?

Me:
What?

Ansel:
Chloe just texted me and Zoe. what did you do??

Me:
I proposed last night

Ansel:
Ya I know

Me:
And you didn't tell me?!?!?

Ansel:
Well you proposed I didn't think you would need to know.

Me:
I was drunk!

Ansel:
Still

Me:
Well what did she say

Ansel
To meet her at adventure dome.

Me:
When?

Ansel:
Like now

Me:
I'll be there in 15 minutes

Ansel:
I don't think that's the best idea

Me:
Why

Ansel:
Cuz we are with her and she seems pretty heartbroken.

Me:
Oh.

Ansel:
Ya. well gtg!
