Chapter 13- Agreement

'What are we going to do now Elders', Elder Matthias said as he sighed and rubbed his temples, 'For they don't want to listen', he said to them.

'Elder Matthias, we should warn them, the royal couple, they should know about this so they will know what to do if the other elders will persuade them', Elder Katherine said to his co-Elder. The Elder sighed and looked at her.

'That is what I am thinking but', he said gulping for the dreaded fact, 'We know for the fact that they wouldn't take this by heart because they have an oath to not have biases for us. They wouldn't believe especially the alpha king to us if we tell him, he would just say that we are just paranoid', he said breathing deeply.

'I know Elder Matthias', Elder Thomas said to his co-Elder, 'It won't hurt if we try right? Let us try this chance and maybe by the power of the moon goddess, they would believe us', he said placing his hand on the shoulder of Elder Matthias.

'Okay Elders, we will try. Tomorrow, we will make a private meeting with them so we can discuss what is happening', he said looking at his two co-Elders.

Then, a loud bang on the door made their discussion stop. Everybody eyes are train towards the young man who is panting very hard with his hands on his knees. His brown hair sticking to his sweaty forehead from running.

'Elders, Elders', the young man said as he ran towards the middle of the room so everybody can see and listen to him, 'I've got some news I heard from the castle's maids', he said then he composed himself, 'A healer had been called this morning to check the health of our luna queen, the maids heard some shocking news', he said stopping.

'What is it young man? Speak!', Elder Elizabeth said to him.

'Of course Elder', he said then looked around, 'The luna queen is pregnant. They are expecting a child', he said making the others gasp in surprise.

'That's preposterous young man! It's impossible for what you are saying. Get out now!', Elder Murrow shouts at the boy. The boy is shaking in fear and he bowed his head to them. He is starting to leave but he is stopped by Elder Matthias.

'Stop young man. Stay here we will talk about it', he said to the young man and he reluctantly went back to where he is standing minutes ago. Elder Matthias stood up and looked around stopping at the young man's place.

'Are you sure you heard it right from the maids young man that our luna queen is expecting a child?', he said and the boy nodded at him.

'Y-Yes Elder, the maids heard when they passed the door to the chambers of the royal couple and the royal couple also announced to the maids, servants and also to the messenger that they will announce a good news at the town square before the sun sets on the horizon to the people of the pack and the kingdom', he said looking at the Elder confidently.

The Elder looked at the boy and saw no false in his eyes and words. He thought to himself that the moon goddess had interfered to what is happening to her children. Joyous, the Elder smiled at the boy. He is about to say something but cut off by the shout of Elder Murrow.

'False!', Elder Murrow shouts making all heads turned at him, 'You are lying boy, you have been cast by a spell to you to make a lie. I bet that some of the Elders here put the magic on the boy to lie and stop the plan. And it's not working!', he shouts making Elder Matthias glared at him.

'He is not telling a lie Elder Murrow, I can see in his eyes that he is telling the truth and I don't sense any magic in him', he said but Elder Murrow smirked at him.

'Oh, then let all the elders tell if he is telling the truth or not', he said then he put his hand behind him and cast a spell on the elders, 'Elders, what do you think?', he said and the whole place is quiet again.
