Chapter 13- Agreement

"Woah" I said surprise to what I heard, "He's pregnant?", I said looking up at him but he just chuckles at me. I pout at him but he just continue to chuckle at me.

"Yes, meine liebe", he said making me gulp nervously. If I heard it right, one of the lines in the spell of the goddess is that the male mates of alphas and the alpha king will get pregnant then it will befall upon me. I reach my hand down on my stomach and place on it absentmindedly.

"So", I said trailing the word, 'It will happen to me also?', I said to him trying to make sure that what I think is true. His body tenses and look down at me with nervous face.

"Yes", he said the look at the book again, 'I hope you didn't reject me because I can't live the rejection', he said and I faintly hear his whimper. I look at him and shake my head.

"No, of course not", I say as I tuck some of hair to my ear, 'I'm just happy that you said that because if it's just a farce, I can't take your rejection too even we just met weeks. It is stupid to think that I have fallen for you just for a short time but I have these feelings for you', I said blushing my confession. I look at him and see that he is smiling at me brightly.

"I-I know that we wolves have much stronger feelings than a human so I got these feelings for you are so strong that I will literally die", he said as he flips the pages on the book, "But hearing your confession, made me sure that you have feelings for me because to be honest, I thought you will try to get away from me as much as possible after what I have done to you", he chuckles to himself. Upon hearing it, the memory of that night resurfaces again making me blush.

"Oh that", I said trying to hide my blush behind my hands. Then I heard Kristoffer chuckle.

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that meine liebe", he said as he scratch behind his neck, 'It's just that my wolf is very active on that time and my rut coincides so it is very hard for me to control him', he said nodding my head even though I didn't really understand what he is saying to me.

"Anyway, I will continue the story since you interrupted me", he said chuckling at me. Hurt, I pout at him but he just chuckles at me.

"Anyway, the story continues", he said then starts to read the book.

"After their healer's appointment, the royal couple is on their bed laying down with smiles on their faces. The alpha is affectionately caressing the hair of his mate while the luna is caressing his belly trying to feel the growing pup inside his body.

'I can't believe we are expecting a pup', Liam said happily. His hands travelled downwards and stop on his mate's belly. Caressing it lovingly.

'Yeah', he said and they fall into silence again enjoying the happy aura that surrounds them.

The royal couple are oblivious to what is happening deep inside the forest where the meeting place for all the Elders are located. Their meeting had last throughout the night and with the sun rising on the horizon, they are preparing to finish the whole meeting.

'So, are we okay with the plan on the choosing for the bride for the alpha king?', Elder Murrow said to the whole Elders around him.

'Yes, we are going to let the alpha king choose hid bride for him', an elder said and stood up from his seat, 'We are going to call the daughters of the head clans and the different alphas to join the choosing which will happen in the next full moon', he said then he sat down. Elder Murrow nodded to himself as he stroked his white beard. Then he talked again about their plan on the luna queen.

In the corner, the three elders of the Crescent pack are sitting alone to themselves, not joining the meeting for they are disinterest with and not wanting to join their ridiculous and dangerous plan.
