Chapter 10- War Plan

After I make sure that Jesse is safe in our room with Mark, I walk down towards the Strategy room. I expect that all the alphas, my trusted commander and beta to be in the room waiting for me.

I open the door of the room and I saw everybody I expected to be here. They all stood and I told them to sit down so we can get started.

"Frank, report", I said and Frank stood up in front of us holding a roll of scribe on his hand. He opens it and begins reading it.

"There is a report coming from our warriors that guards the boundary of the pack that there are some alliance forming between the rogues and the hunters. They are spotted shaking their hands and signing something.

One report from a knight that they spotted something out of place. A hunter with a wolf walking beside him. They interrogated and the hunter only made a story. They just passed it knowing that maybe he trained the wolf but the knight is still unconvinced.

On another report, this time a warrior, he saw that the rogues are gathering in large groups with a hunter. At first he didn't believe it so he got a tracker to really know if it is truth. And it is the truth, the tracker smelled them and it confirms the suspicion of the warrior.

I talked to the tracker in question, which is Maurice, she confirmed the story of the warrior. She also told us that they are planning. She eavesdropped them and heard that they are trying to attack the kingdom and the pack in the next full moon, which fortunately, it is next year.

That is the information I had gathered sirs, Alphas, King", he said and sit down on his chair which is beside me. I sigh rubbing my temples. I stood up and all their eyes were on me.

"Okay... I had been told this information earlier. I already told my warriors and knights and you to tell your warriors to patrol the whole kingdom and pack. Obviously, this isn't a solution. So anybody have any idea?", I said and the whole become quiet.

"I do", someone said and saw the Alpha of the Ridge Pack. He has the second strongest pack in the kingdom. He stood up and joins me in the table with the large map of the kingdom and pack spread out wide with little models on it. This help us to make a battle strategy.

"We should train warriors a little harder not much but enough that we may be ready next year", he said and I nodded.

"Of course. How about a battle plan? Let us plan a battle", I said and look down at the table.

"How about this", he said and picks up a little model and places it in the boundary of my pack, "let your spy hide on the boundary of your pack to protect the heart. We can go outside of your kingdom and surrounds the outside", he said and moves everything around the whole kingdom.

"What? Are you kidding me? How can I protect my mate?! He will be in great danger if I am not in his side or anyone to protect him?!", I said getting angrier. This is a foolish and dangerous plan, "How about this", I said and grab a statue of my beta, "everyone but my beta will be on it. I will train your beta to be a little stronger so at least they can protect it", I said and Frank stood up again.

"But Alpha, won't be Luna be mad at you for doing that move? I have no objection from it because I know what you are trying to do but I know Luna won't take it easily", he said and he is right. Jesse will surely be mad at me.

"I know but I will try to convince him. I know that you will protect him with your life? Right Frank?", I ask with my Alpha tone.

"Yes Alpha. I will protect your Luna with my life. And also because my mate is friend with him", he said and I smiled. He made friends with person in the castle.
