DAYJA POV

After getting the date and the venue set I met up with Ranae so she could help me with choosing a photographer,bands,florists and caterers. We had a lot of stuff to do before the wedding and I was glad I didn't have to do it alone. With Jaymond at the club making sure everything went okay I had to ask someone else to help me.

"Hey Ranae did you get the contacts for the photographer,band,florists and caterer. You know Im planning the wedding and everything has to be perfect. No mess ups, slip ups, anything."

"Jesus Dayja calm yo ass down, I have the contact information, we meet the caterer next week,and we can visit so Dj's later on this week so you can pick who you want, calm down everythings find." Ranae said rolling her eyes at me afterwards and walking away.

The engagement party was today and I was making sure everything was set for this week. Me being crazy, I don't really give a fuck I just want my wedding to be perfect. I looked at my phone and I had a miss call from Dray, i smiled and look over at Ranae she was on her phone so I stepped outside and called Dray back.

"Hey Dray , why you call?" I asked.

"Damn Dayja, I though I was your bestfriend."

"I don't mean it like that its just that Im busy planning the wedding and making sure everything go smoothly."

"Man bring yo ass to the front of the house." He said then hung up.

I went to the front to see Dray there holding his hands out asking for a hug.

"Dray I miss you so much." I said running up to him hugging him.

"Didn't act like it on the phone." he said laughing

"Why you got clothes with you."

"For the engagment party we gotta get ready for,duhh."

Still silly after all these years.Ranae left to get ready at home while Dray and I got ready here.

DRAY POV

After Dayja and me got ready I drove her to the party. She was looking so sexy in her white fitted jumpsuit with some white heel boots. My brother had me thinking, was I to late to get Dayja back? She was aleady getting ready for a wedding with another man,but he ain't deserve her. He treated her like trash and she never found out. Everday I feel bad for not telling her.

"Dray? Dray?"

"Huh?"

"You coming inside or what." she asked showing of her smile and her light brown beatiful eyes.

"Yea here I come."

Once she walked of I started following behind her. When she enter the party everybody started clapping for her. All of Jaymond family was here and Dayja far away family came. My brother and mama was there and Ranae was here to with her mama and Daddy. The only person who wasn't here was Jaymond. I could tell she noticed caused her smile went down a lil bit. I bent down to her ear and told her that I was sure he would be here he wouldn't not come to their engagement party. She nodded her head and walked of to talk to everybody.

"Aye Big D." my brother yelled to me.

"Wasup Lil D, hey mama." I said as I dabbed Lil D and hugged Ma.

"Whats wrong with Dayja she seemed a little sad."My mama asked.

Her and Dayja was like actual mama and daughter. Dayja was the only one my mama consider her daughter,since Dayja ain't have no mom and my mama ain't have no daughter.

"Jaymond not here yet." I said.

My mama just walked away shaking her head saying shit under her breath. Lil D went after her and I went to find Dayja.

2 HOURS LATER

Once Dayja checked her phone for the a thousand time again she ran off into a private room. I followed her and seen her crying. I came over to her and locked the door. She grabbed me and hugged me tight.

"He's not coming Dray, he's never there."

"Dayja im sure he has a good reason why he's late." I said trying to cheer her up knowing I was gone fuck him up later.

"I wish he was like you"., she laughed a lil bit and continue " You're always here making me laugh and smile." she said while sniffing.

"I love you Dray, You know that right?"

"I love you too Dayja.... more than you'll ever know." I mumbled the last part.

She looked up at me and I looked down at her.We was still hugging each other. She moved closer and kissed me and I kissed her back.

RANAE POV

I was looking everywhere for Dayja someone told me it look like she walked of about to cry. Even though we loved the same person I was still her friend. I still couldn't find her and thats when I ran into Jaymond.

"Ranae where Dayja, I need to tell her im sorry something came up but im here now." he said all in one breath.

I just starre at him he looked so damn sexy. I couldn't help myself. I dragged him into a bathroom stall and kissed him before he could say something then he started to kiss me back.

"I miss you Jaymond and I love you so much." I said between kissing him.

"Ranae this is wrong."

"Shhhh,dont fight it." I said then started kissing him again.

After 30 minutes we began to fix our clothes.We only made out but it was rough. Before I left I fianally heard the words I was waiting for him to say.

"I miss you too."

And I walked away with a smile on my face. Happy once again.
