Ch.9 Fight

Alexis pov
I woke up from my sleep. I walked downstairs in a t shirt and black sweatpants. I rubbed my eyes. when I walked down I saw Jake and Colby on the couch talking. They didn't hear or see me so I snuck up by the wall and listened.

"You like her?" I think thats what Colby said.

"Yea. What about you. It's obvious!"

"How?"

"You like HER!"

"But you try taking her."

I was like who are they talking about so I walked in acting like I didn't hear them. I rubbed my eyes and sat in between them.

"Sup dudes!" I said in a tired voice.

"Nothing much." Colby answered.

"Movie?" Jake asked. Then me and Colby looked at each other and nodded our heads. Then he put in his favorite movie. I then got a text from Chris.

C: hey😊

A:Hey how are you?

C: good. I want to ask you something.

A:ok?

C: whos your crush?

A: why do you want to know?

C:cause I'm yo best frend!

A: I ain't telling a soul child.😅

C:dang gtg bye!

A: bye!

I put my phone down and look at the tv. Then I start to lean on Colby's shoulder. Then I feel an arm come around my waist. I turn and it's not Colby's so it's Jake's.

The movie ends and we have been listing places to eat for breakfast.

"IHOP!" I yell.

"RED LOBSTER!" Colby shouts then we all three crack up.

"Im...di...dying!" I laughed like crazy. It's was the way he said it drove us nuts!

Sam starts coming down the stairs.

"What's going on?" He asked in a groggy voice.

"We are... laughing!" I said still laughing but calming down.

"Ok. I have a feeling about something..." He rubs his chin.

"I have a feeling that someone likes someone in here!" He said walking closer.

"Really mysterious, but I have to go get some food. Anyone coming?" I ask as they all nodded.

"Ok we'll just leave uncle, corey, and Aaron here?"

"Yup! Poor them. Early bird gets the worm!" Jake implied. I've heard that saying many times.

"IHOP!!!! WOOOOO!!" Colby screams in a deep voice. He's so funny when he screams like that.

We all chill in the car then arrive at IHOP. We order our food then say.

*after eating*

We headed back home. When we got there I opened the door and I thought it's quiet, too quiet. I walk a couple steps forward and then I hear screaming upstairs. We all run upstairs to see what happened. It was Corey tied up. We untie him.

"The people took Aaron and Elton!" Sam and Jake started to run downstairs. Me and Colby stay and we look at Corey with the 'we know it's a prank' face.

"Dang! We tried." He said knowing we found out.

"We're just gonna leave the others for the prank." I said just waiting upstairs. We then hear "OH MY GOSH!!" So we just walk downstairs and we saw Elton and Aaron laughing. Jake and Sam realized they just got pranked.

"These guys knew the whole time." Corey said giving Elton a high five.

"Fudge!" Aaron screamed.

We found out it was 11 pm so we just say and watched a movie till we fell asleep.

While watching the movie I lean on Colby's shoulder. Then he throws his arm on my shoulder. I fell asleep leaning on him.
