Percy POV

I woke up to the sound of feet stomping past my door. At first I ignored it and chose to burrow into my blankets but then some idiot thought it was an amazing idea to ram their fist on my door....repeatedly. I mean an idiot stomping past my door is one kind of an idiot but slamming their fist on my door repeatedly is a whole other category of idiot. I huff and fight my way out of my blankets that entangled me and get out of my bed......my warm, comfortable bed. I walk to the door quickly and open the door, only to almost get punched in the face by the fist that was slamming on my door. I look at the fist I caught an inch away from hitting me in the face. I stared at Ron who was staring at his fist that I caught. I let his fist go and leaned on the doorway, "Do you have an explanation for why you were idiotically slamming your fist on my door at," I looked at the clock on my wall, "6 AM in the morning". Ron still had his fist in the air and was staring at it with a confused face. I did the only thing that seemed like an option to snap him out of his dazed state..... I slapped his face. Granted I could have nudged him or said his name but slapping him was a lot of fun. Well it was fun for me not for him. When I slapped him his head snapped to the side. As quickly as his head snapped to the side it snapped back to look at me, "What the bloody hell was that for"? I shook my head slowly like I was disappointed in him for not knowing, "You were just staring at your fist so I slapped you to snap you out of it". He looked at me like I was the stupidest person ever, "You could have just called out my name. Another thing how did you catch my hand"? I shrugged my shoulders, "I didn't think about calling out your name at the time and it's called really fast reflexes". His mouth hung open like he couldn't believe anything I just said. He stood frozen in front of my doorway with his mouth slowly opening and closing until we heard Mrs. Weasley yell out that lunch was ready. When I heard Mrs. Weasley I shoved my way past Ron and made my way downstairs. I didn't look back to see if Ron was following me, I didn't need to I heard his footsteps stomping behind me. I stepped off of the last step and was about to walk into the kitchen but Ron pushed past me. Rude much. When I walked in Ron was already seated and looking at his plate with longing. I sat in the only seat left open which so happened to be in between Harry and Hermione. A voice in the back of my head was telling me that they were up to something but I ignored it. Mrs. Weasley set my plate in front of me, which may I add was packed full of food. I realized i was quite hungry and started eating. Now let me tell you I almost lost my appetite again because Ron sat right in front of me and he was just cramming everything on his plate into his mouth. I managed to keep my appetite, thankfully, because Hermione started distracting me from Rons' eating festival, "Perseus I've been meaning to ask you why you only brought a duffle bag from your apartment"? At her question, I heard many utensils stop moving and I knew that everyone was listening for my reply, "Oh I get it. You think I'm lying about not knowing anything about the wizarding world and put some kind of spell on my bag", I saw her start to look sheepish at my response so far, "So let me ask you a question, Hermione. When you first found out about the wizarding world did you have a lot to bring to the school without going shopping for the supplies"? At my question, she started blushing in embarrassment, "Well no". I nodded my head slightly, "Exactly". I continued to eat until my entire plate was cleared. I didn't really want to eat everything but everyone was starting to get worried and suspicious about why I wasn't eating a lot so I thought I should throw them off a bit. The truth is that the nightmares I generally get while I sleep make me lose the want to eat anything, but it was easier now because I surprisingly didn't get a nightmare while I slept. I stood up, I was the first one done it should have been Ron but he was eating his second plate, and told Mrs. Weasley to call for me when we leave for Diagon Alley. After that, I walked upstairs to my room and sat on the floor with my legs crossed as I stared at the wall again. After about 10 minutes I was getting bored and started to pretend I was actually having a staring contest with the wall. Somehow the wall kept winning even when I used my imagination. Soon I started to feel like I was being watched but every time I looked around the room no-one was there. I turned back to the wall and thought Good game wall. One day wall I will beat you but right now I'm being watched so I have to concentrate on whoever's watching me. After that ridiculous thought, I got up and laid down on my bed and burrowed my self back into my blankets. I know what you're thinking, But Perseus you're being watched by something you don't know,  how can you sleep?  The answer is I'm not actually sleeping, I'm just pretending so the whoever or whatever is watching me doesn't think I'm doing anything. I don't know exactly how long I sat there tangled in my blankets, but I slowly started to drift off until my eyes finally fluttered shut. After a terrifying nightmare featuring my ex-family, I woke up to Mrs. Weasley yelling my name. The feeling that someone was watching me was gone but I didn't doubt that it would come back. When Mrs. Weasley shouted my name again I quickly tried to get out of bed but I forgot that I tangled myself up in the blankets, so what happened? I fell flat on my face with a loud 'thud' due to my feet being encased in a blanket. I quickly kicked my feet out of the death trap called a blanket and practically ran out of my room. When I made it downstairs Mrs. Weasley was waiting for me looking worried, "Perseus are you okay? What was that loud noise"? I smiled slightly as I walked by her, "I'm fine Mrs. Weasley. I just fell, that's why you heard that noise". She didn't look happy with my answer but told me to go to the living room. As I walked in I realized that we were going to Diagon Alley. When I stepped into the room the conversation died out and everyone turned to look at me. "What? You can keep talking. It's not like I'm some kind of disease where every time I'm in the same room as you I could get you infected when you open your mouth". Slowly everyone started talking again although they did talk quieter. I eventually migrated over to the couch and sat down after five minutes of standing. I sat next to Ginny who I like to think of as a friend because she's the only one who doesn't talk to me like she's afraid of me or hates me. I sat next to Ginny in silence, a comfortable silence, and just listened to the quiet chatter going on around me. I sat there in silence for ten more minutes until the sound of apparating echoed throughout the house causing the already quiet chatter to fade into silence. Dumbledore walked through the doorway causing everyone but me to stand up. Apparently his appearance was unexpected. Dumbledore gestured to me so I stood up and walked over to him, "I know you were supposed to use the floo to get to Diagon Alley but I would like it if we apparated there, as I am not sure if Perseus would enjoy the floo". I just shrugged, "I have no clue on what a floo is but I trust your judgment". After a while everyone agreed to the change and Dumbledore held one arm out to me and the other to Ginny. Within seconds we were in front of a wall. Ginny and I let go of Dumbledores arms and watched as he walked up to the wall with his wand raised. I watched interested as he tapped a pattern onto the wall. As he tapped the pattern the wall began to shift an move until it was an archway. Through the archway I could see people bustling about from store to store. Ginny leaned over to me as we walked through the archway and whispered, "Welcome to Diagon Alley". I turned to grin at her and leaned to whisper back, "Thank you". I knew she knew that I was saying those words for more than just those four words she spoke to me.

The song is called Silhouette by Owl City. If you think, "Percy didn't go to Diagon Alley like you promised". Well, I resent that it very clearly states in the end that he went to Diagon Alley. In the next chapter, I plan to have Percy go through the journey that is called Diagon Alley...And maybe he'll meet Luna.
