"My cruel son, how are you?" the woman asked as she looks at Romeo.

Romeo walks towards the woman who was actually his mother.

He stands in a safe distance from her and stares at her from head to toe.

The whole atmosphere became tense. I feel like I've been holding my breath ever since Romeo called his own mother "woman".

Her mother was old, no doubt about it. But, even when she looks like she's in her fifties, Romeo's mother still looked beautiful.

"I thought you were dying", Romeo coldly asked, making his mother chuckle.

"Unfortunately I'm not dying Romeo, just sick," Ms. Elizabeth Roselli answers.

Mat, who was standing beside me, moved closer to where Romeo was. He looked straight at Elizabeth and bravely said, "You may address him as Don Romeo madam Elizabeth."

Elizabeth smirked; then she looks at Mat and says, "You were the gardener weren't you? I didn't know you could speak."

"Pardon madam but I am Don Romeo's right-hand-man, not...gardener," Mat says, and it was obvious he immediately got pissed.

Elizabeth looked satisfied and answered, "Is that so? Then I apologize to both of you...sir Luca and Don Romeo."

Looks like both of them don't like her.

"What are you doing here?" Romeo finally asked.

"I'm here to pay respect to your fallen brothers," Elizabeth says with a pained expression that will obviously not fool anyone. But just by looking at her expression and gestures, she basically didn't really care.

"Pay respect? Don't make me laugh woman. If you wanted to pay respect then you should have been here when Johnson was buried too," Romeo fires back, now the atmosphere became ten times tenser than what it already was earlier.

I looked at Elizabeth, and to my surprised, the pained expression that she was faking suddenly became real.

"You have no idea how hurt I was when he died," Elizabeth says, trying her best to look tough even when it was obvious that she was inches away from crying.

Romeo walked closer and angrily looked at his mother, "You're right, I don't have an idea. Because when my father died you didn't look hurt at all."

"Don Romeo, I think this isn't the right place to-"

Antonio was quickly cut off as Romeo lifted his hand to stop him.

Romeo moved even closer and looked straight at his mother's eyes, "Leave my household."

Elizabeth doesn't say anything and just continued to look at her son. Then she glanced at Antonio, like she was asking him to help her out, but Antonio immediately looked away, because all of us knew about Romeo's position, so it means no one could defy him anymore, even his uncle.

"I'm sorry Elizabeth, but our godfather wants you to leave. So please...leave," Antonio says with neutral expression, to make everyone know he doesn't favor Romeo or Elizabeth.

"As you wish...DON Romeo. But I'll be back, and by that time, you'll be the one begging for me to come back," Elizabeth says, emphasizing the word don. Then she glares at all of us and goes back to the car.

Seconds later, everyone who just arrived, immediately left the premises.

"Start the funeral without me. I give my greatest respect to all those who were killed," Romeo says as he immediately turns around without even waiting for anyone to answer him.
