     "Master Romeo! Where are you?!" a maid shouted as I hid inside a cabinet.

     "Did you find him?" another maid asked.

     "No. But we need to find him fast before the party starts."

     "How can a ten year old kid be so troublesome?!" the maid angrily shouted before running off with the other maid.

     I sighed and stepped out of the cabinet.

     "I'm not a kid anymore so I don't need fucking babysitters", I silently say as I glanced at the small knife that I stole at the kitchen.

     "This will definitely be useful", I mumbled to myself. Then I suddenly heard noise coming from the other end of the hallway so I immediately tucked the knife behind my coat and ran off.

     Thankfully this household is enormous, so the maids wouldn't be able to find me so easily.

     "Everyone is already complaining!" I suddenly heard someone shout from the meeting room.

     The door was slightly open. So I slowly walked my way towards it to peek on the small gap.

     My father was sitting on the middle like he always does while the board members and my uncle Antonio sat around him.

     "He should stay with his mother at the Roselli household. All he does is make trouble here", another man tells my father.

     "He is just a boy", my father answered, obviously irritated since everyone in the room was talking at the same time.

    "A boy who almost set the whole house on fire the other day!" another old man shouted.

     "That was an accident", my uncle defended, then everyone started talking at the same time again.

     "Oh come on, my father will never kick me out of my own house", I say with a smirk.

     "Fine!" my father suddenly shouted, making everyone in the room quiet.

     Father massages his temple and answered, "I will think about transferring Romeo to the Roselli household."

     "W-What?" I asked from shock.

     I slowly backed away as the men started smiling happily at my father's decision. Then I quickly turned around, my face suddenly hitting someone.

     "Romeo? What are you doing here?" a familiar voice asked.

      I lifted my head and saw Johnson.

     "Johnson, they're going to kick me out of the house!" I quickly told him.

    Johnson looks at me confusingly, and then he glanced at the door and realized what I was talking about.

    I thought he was going to defend me, but he chuckles and pats my head instead, "Oh Romeo, your father won't do such a thing, he loves you too much to do that."

     "R-Really?" I nervously asked.

     "Yes, and to tell you a secret..." Johnson kneels down and whispered in my ear, "They've been asking your father about that ever since you were born."

     "Huh?" I confusingly asked.

     "Those old men have been dying to kick you out ever since you were born so they'd get a chance to become the head of the family since Don Claudio wouldn't have a heir. They'll keep asking your father that even until you get older, but believe me, he will never agree to it. He only says he will just so they could shut up", Johnson explains, finally making me sigh from relief.

     "Well they can't take the position away from me. I'm a Valentino", I proudly said.

     Johnson chuckles and answered, "Yes you are, which also means you're both protected and in danger at the same time. So, like what I always tell you..."

     "Trust no one", I answered back.

    Johnson smiles and pats my head again, "That's good. Now, can I trust you on not making any trouble today? There will be a party tonight and I need you to be at your best behaviour."

     "Of course Johnson", I quickly answered him.

    Johnson smiles and fixes my tie, then he stands back up and says, "Now go to the garden, I think Mat is there watering the flowers."

     I excitedly smiled and hugged Johnson, "Thanks Johnson. You always know what to say."

    "Of course. Anything for my little boss."
