Wedding diary (Complete)

2.The day

Ameya's Point of view :

I woke up early today. Not sure why but I have this weird feeling as if something is going to happen today...

I brushed all my bad feelings aside, got up, and took bath. I opened my cupboard to select white kurta and red leggings to wear with matching jewelry. I have applied little makeup and bindi. I left my hair loose as I washed my hair today.

Once I got ready I went downstairs and saw dad sitting near the dining table. I went near him and wished him Good Morning. He smiled in return and wished me the same with a smile wider than mine.

My dad is a doctor and I love him a lot. He loves me a lot too. I lost my mother immediately after my birth. From that day, all I have is my dad. I can do anything for him except leaving him for any pleasures in the world.

I had my breakfast prepared by Lakshmi, our maid but we never treated her as one. Lakshmi came with a bowl in her hand and a wide smile on her face which is somewhat mischievous. She told 'Good morning DEEDI' and I smiled in return taking poori from the bowl.

I had breakfast and said my byes to dad. I went to college and the day passed very slow till lunch until I met Bhavana, my best friend.

We both had lunch together and chatted about all the weird stuff and gossips and then left for our classes. I have forgotten to say that I am studying engineering. I am from Computers and Bhavana is from electrical so we don't have classes together.

After my classes are over I went home with Bhavana on her scooty. When we came near my house, I saw a lot of vehicles parked in front of my house. I got surprised as I have never seen these many vehicles near my home. I told Bhavana bye and went inside. I saw my dad talking with one couple. A lot of people are sitting, standing, talking, and doing a hell of a lot of things that felt weirder to me. I noticed that some of the people were my relatives and a few I know very well. I removed my white heels at the entrance and entered the hall when Lakshmi saw me and shouted 'Deedi came'. Then my dad smiled widely and called me 'Princess... Come hear and say hello to your attha. (dad's sister or mom's brother's wife)...
