We all went out separate ways around 3 am. My sister was at work so I went over to Derek's.
"Are you tired?" Derek asked me when we got inside.
"Surprisingly no. Are you?" I turned to him pulling his jacket closed around me.
"Nope" he smiled at me as he locked the door. He walked over to his iHome and turned on a song. Hearing the beginning of "Lights down low" by Max. Slowly he moves toward me. The want in his eyes.
He pulled me against his body and kissed me. Full of love and need.

He trailed soft kisses from my lips, down my neck to my shoulder pushing his jacket off, as he moved behind me and slowly unzipped my dress.

Kissing my shoulder and moving up the back of my neck. My body tingling from the need to have him closer.

My dress slid to the floor and I turned to face him, my fingers moving deftly as I undid the buttons of his shirt. His skin exposed I ran my hands up over his abs to his chest leaving my own trail of kisses. Then pushing his shirt off while pulling him against me.

His hands lightly running down my sides until they reached my behind, he dipped forward as he grabbed the back of my thighs to lift me up so my legs wrapped around him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him as he walked us to the bed.

Laying us down on the be we took our time leaving trails of kisses and savoring each other. Most of the night was spent in each others arms then passed out at some point.

Waking up the next morning I heard the familiar sound of his heartbeat and looked up at him. Derek was still asleep and he looked so peaceful. I couldn't help but just stare. Amazed at the fact that he is all mine, that he loves me for me and not my powers.
"You're staring" he said without opening his eyes.
"I'm admiring" I smiled as I propped my head up on his chest.
"It's too early for that" he said as he opened his eyes.
"Never too early" I couldn't help but giggle. He smiles at me.
"I love waking up to you next to me" he said as he tucked my hair behind my ear.
"Ditto. I sleep better next to you. No nightmares" I couldn't help but look down.
"Hey, no sad faces. Are you hungry?" He held my face.
"Yeah, what do you have?" I smiled.
"Not sure. We would have to go look" he said as he sat up a little and kissed me. We got out of bed, he put on some sweats and handed me one of his shirts.
Breakfast was pancakes and eggs. I don't remember having so much fun making breakfast. Laughing, relaxed and lots of kisses. The rest of the morning was relaxed and us just enjoying each others company.
My phone buzzed with a text from my sister.
When are you coming home?
I replied to her.
In a little bit. Everything ok?
She replied quickly.
Yeah it's all good. I have to head to work soon. If I don't see you before then have a good day. Hope you had a great night and morning ;) ;)
I laughed and replied.
Yes it was AMAZING! will fill you in later;) if I don't see you I can always drop by the hospital. Luv you!
Her response.
Ohhh good and ew! Lol. Alright just let me know. Luv you too!
"Everything ok?" Derek asked.
"Oh yea. My sister is headed to work and wanted to let me know" I put my phone down.
We spent a little while longer just lounging around and enjoying our time together. By mid afternoon Derek got dressed and let me borrow some sweats. Then took me home.
"Last night and today are like a dream come true" I said on the way to my house. A big goofy grin on my face.
"I agree" Derek's smile matched mine. He lifted my hand to his lips and kissed my knuckles.
We pulled up in my driveway and Derek helped me get my dress out of the car. He walked me up the stairs and into the house. I put my dress on the chair and turned to Derek. Something all of a sudden didn't feel right. He sensed it too.
"Well well well lookie what we have here"
My heart dropped.
