Garnett was looking at Hammond's map and he was telling Warren about a town that he marked as a resupply place.

"Great, so we're relying on the map of a dead guy." Murphy grumbled, looking away from the front and down towards me.

"In case you forgot, that dead guy was a hero who died protecting you." Warren snapped, looking at him through the rear view mirror. Murphy glared at her and countered,

"Just because he's dead doesn't make him a hero." I sighed and shook my head, leaning into him. Garnett sighed and shook his head, saying,

"Well, I hope Province Town does exist because we're out of just about everything but hope." Murphy rolled his eyes and looked out of the window, not caring to comment. As we drove off, I whispered to him,

"He did die protecting you, Murphy. That counts as a hero in my book." He sighed and shook his head, saying nothing.

It wasn't long when we pulled up to a gated community and a signed that said in large letters, 'PREPARE TO SURRENDER ALL WEAPONS BEFORE ENTRY'

"Surrender all weapons? Are they serious?" I heard 10k say, from the back of the truck and Mack replied,

"Looks like."

Warren was stopped just a few feet out of view from the community and she asked Garnett,

"What do you wanna do?"

"Their town, their rules. Looks like we don't have much of a choice." Garnett replied, keeping his gaze forward and Murphy looked at me, his arm coming over my shoulders. So, we drove forward and as we did, four guards came out.

"Stop, this is private compound. I'm gonna have to ask you to turn around. And go back the way you came." The woman of the group called out to us and we stopped. Garnett got out of the car with his hands up and started,

"I'm looking for Major Williams...Joe Williams." The woman trained her gun on him and asked,

"And who are you?"

"I'm Sergeant Charles Garnett, Georgia National Guard. We've known each other going back pre-z." She looked at the man to her right and then back at Garnett, saying,

"Wait there. Your crew stays in the truck. They try to get out or we see a weapon, we'll fire." All the while, the man went to get Major Williams I assumed.

Garnett nodded and looked back at the truck, causing Warren to say,

"Easy everyone. Charlie's got it under control." Murphy glanced at her and asked,

"So, you're calling him Charlie now?" She rolled her eyes and replied,

"Yeah, and I'ma start calling you my bitch if you don't shut up." I chuckled and he looked down at me, shaking his head. Resting my head on his shoulder, he relaxed and I zoned out while Garnett talked to this Major Williams. Next thing I knew, we were surrendering our weapons and going into the town. After I got checked, Murphy got checked after me and then winked at the woman using the metal detector.

"Hey!" I huffed, pulling him to my side and pouting. He chuckled and put an arm around my shoulders, listening as Major Williams told us how things came to be around here.

"What happens if someone, ya know, dies of natural causes?" Murphy asked, after Major Williams told us about the Z situation. He looked back at Murphy and shrugged, saying,

"Sure, that could happen." Then, we took a tour around inside and when we made it to the kitchen, Major Williams explained,

"All the doors and gates close automatically, sealing off each section of the compound. Like on a submarine. Can't be opened by Z's. Everything's been zombie-proofed." Murphy scoffed and asked,
