Sickness?

Sitting up, I looked at Murphy and sighed, running my fingers through his hair.

"Must you wake me up this early?" He asked, groggily and with amusement in his voice.

"Must you--" I started and then stopped getting out of bed. Running into the bathroom, I threw up and gagged, coughing. Hearing footsteps, I took a deep breath and tried to rinse the vomit taste from my mouth, water. Feeling a hand on my back, I relaxed and Murphy asked, concerned,

"Baby, what's wrong?" Shaking my head, I looked up at him and responded,

"Nothing, I just don't feel well. That's all." A loud knock stopped his next statement and Warren calling,

"Time to go, lovebirds!" Murphy left the room and went talk to Warren, my coughing dying down.

"Can she travel?" I heard Warren ask, as I walked into the bedroom and I replied, before Murphy,

"I can, I'm fine."

"Baby--"

"Warren, I'll be ready in five."

"(Y/N)--"

"Seriously, five. Then, we can move."

"...okay..."

She left the room and I began to pack our things. Murphy came up behind me and whispered,

"Babe, we can slow down for a little bit."

"No, we've to get to California."

"You're sick."

"I'm fine."

"Baby, please."

"Let's move."

Walking past him, I heard him sigh and when I got outside, Warren looked worried. Hearing Murphy's footsteps behind me, I looked to him and he was fully dressed, looking all sorts of concerned.

"Ready when you are Warren." I mumbled, feeling Murphy intertwine our fingers and stand at my side. She looked at me and nodded, getting into the truck. Climbing into the back seat, Murphy put an arm around my shoulders and Doc got into the front seat. 10k, Mac, and Addie were sitting in the bed of the truck.

"(Y/N), you look a little green. You okay?" Doc asked, as we drove off and I nodded, keeping my gaze out the window.

We drove for a little while and I coughed, asking,

"Can we pull over for a minute, Warren?"

"Wh-(Y/N)--" She started and I interrupted her,

"Just a minute, please." She pulled over and I got out of the truck, throwing up.

Murphy's Point of View

Hearing her throwing up, I sighed and Warren asked,

"Is she okay, Murphy?"

"I don't...I don't know." I replied, getting out of the car and holding back her hair. She was coughing and I rubbed her back, asking,

"Baby, what is going on?"

"If I knew the answer to that...I would be a lot better." She snapped back, her voice soft and her body rigid. Standing up, she sighed and I hugged her, keeping her tight against my frame.

'What the hell is going on with her?' I thought, kissing her temple and feeling her sob against my chest.

"Let's go, (Y/N). Murphy." Warren said, starting the car and I nodded, helping (Y/N) back into the truck. (Y/N) leaned into me and I held her to my side, tightly. Eventually, I heard her light breathing and the flush of her skin, she was asleep.

"Murphy, do you know what's up with her?" Doc asked, looking back at us and smiling at our nature.

"If I knew that...I wouldn't be so damn worried, Doc." I replied, softly.

"She could be pregnant, Murphy." Warren suggested, glancing back at us and smirking. Looking down at (Y/N), I shrugged and kissed her forehead, saying,

"Maybe."

"Well, then get her a pregnancy test and see." Warren suggested.

"She would kill me."

"Addie or I might be able to talk her into it the next time we go for a run."

"Maybe, Warren."

"Come on, Murphy. It could give you some peace."

"...Okay."

"Yes! Auntie Warren to the rescue!"

"Please stop." I groaned, chuckling and she smiled back at me, replying,

"She will be fine. She's strong. Sick or no...She's strong."
