Madeline grabs Serene, Sofia, and they run out of the ballroom where the event was held and run to the lobby where they take an elevator to the top floor.

Serene, Sofia, looks around confused, her ears still ringing from all the gun shots.

Both girls' hair is all messed up, their dresses slightly ripped from all the people running around and no one knowing where the shooters were.

The elevator door dings and they step out to the roof. A helicopter waits for them.

Sofia's eyes light up, but her face shows obvious confusion.

"What's happening?" She asks Madeline.

Madeline smiles at this young girl she wished she could've known better.

"Our escape. I'm bringing you out of here. You're staying with me." She says, linking her arm around Sofia's.

They sit opposite each other in the helicopter, observing the scene below. Just as they lift off, three men make it to the roof top, rifles and snipers pointed up.

Madeline looks worried, and Sofia studies the situation.

"Get us out of here. Hurry!" Madeline exclaims.

The helicopter tilts to the right and they slowly fly out, but not in time. Madeline gives out a cry of pain as a sniper bullet finds its way into her left thigh.

Sofia helps her bandage her leg before the bleeding gets too bad.

"Why are you helping me?" Sofia asks.

Madeline gives her sister a sad smile. "Sofia, I never got to know you no matter how long we lived in the same house. And I want so badly to know my sister. I don't like the way mother and father run things and so I left a d decided that when I found you, I'd take care of you."

Sofia smiles at her sister's kind words. But Madeline's face is paling and Sofia gets worried.

It takes two hours before they land on a vast green field in the middle of plains rolling for miles away.

Madeline's about to go unconscious and her maids run towards them.

The mansion is not an ordinary modern one, the way Miguel's or her parent's are. It's a vintage kind from the old days. Before the War.

Sofia runs with her sister's maids as they follow the servants carrying Madeline on a stretcher.

They put her down on a couch where Sofia assists Madeline's personal doctor.

"Where are we?" Sofia asks softly.

Madeline smiles weakly. "This used to be known as Amsterdam. Our parents live in what used to be known as Paris. In short, you're in your true home now."

Sofia smiles and holds her sister's hand, gently rubbing it to show her support.

"Rest now, sister." Sofia whispers.

Madeline smiles before closing her eyes. "I love you, Sofia."
