When I stumbled across his post on craigslist about this blind guy that needs a roommate for his apartment, I was skeptical about the whole situation. Especially since the cost of rent was surprisingly low for the city location.

I called him through the number he left on the website and arranged for a meeting at a nearby coffee shop.

Scott Hoying. Sounds legit.

S.H: I'm a tall blonde, and I'll probably be sitting at the table right beside the door when you enter.

As I entered the store, I looked around immediately and notice the blonde sitting at a small square table in the corner with a cup of iced coffee and his phone. Subconsciously, the first thing I look at are his bulging, blue eyes.

They actually look gorgeous.

His blonde hair was messy and flat on his head as if he really didn't give a damn about how he looked.

I snapped myself out of my stare as I started to approach him. I let out a small cough to let him know that I was in front of him before I spoke.

"Hi, uhm... Scott right?" I rested my hand on the chair opposite his.

"Mitchell Grassi?" Other than the protruding color of blue, his eyes really did look normal and... alive.

"That would be me." I smiled as I pulled out the chair and sat down swiftly, "So you are looking for a roommate."

After the first two months, I learnt that Scott had keratoconus. It was a cornea disorder of some sort where it slowly degraded his vision starting since he was young. Apparently, he was a clumsy child so nobody really thought anything of it until it was too late, when he turned 19, he had grown accustomed to the blurry vision and his degrading eyesight which doctors had said he could only fix with a cornea transplant since his case had gotten so serious.

After the first 4 months, I had slowly fell in love with his clumsiness and his goofy attitude towards anything hard in life.

"How did the job interview go?" I asked as he stumbled through the door with his dopey grin. I rushed forward to grab his bag and jacket before giving him a short kiss.

As I pulled away, he pouted and held onto me tighter.

"Come on Mitchy, give me a proper kiss." He puckered his lips again. I took a moment to just absorb the adorable sight of his eyes squeezed tight and his lips all wrinkled up.

I lean in and gave him a 'proper' kiss before pulling away again.

"Now, how was that interview?" I led him to the couch before straddling his hips and kissing his forehead.

"I got kicked out the minute I walked into that office." He said, his grin still prominent.

"You idiot, then why are you still smiling?" I couldn't help but smile back.

"Because I have this gorgeous boy in my arms right now." He leaned in a little, planting a kiss on the corner of my lips, missing the middle as I turned slightly.

"Stop it." I smirked before pushing against his chest to stand back up.

As he was about to speak, his phone rang from his pocket. He sat up to slip it out of his back pocket before quickly picking up the phone.

I couldn't help but smile at the man I fell in love with as I walked to the kitchen to prepare some dinner.

As I turned on the stove, I heard shuffling, a loud bump and a soft 'ouch.'
