I was sitting in the cafeteria with Mariah just chilling and talking.
"I never had a clue that they were your brothers, I have a crush on your brother Lamont." Mariah tells me.
I laughed. "How do you have a crush on him and you never talked to him before"
"I've been around him and I've heard about all your brothers. He just give off that vibe you know ". She says. "But enough about that are you ready for practice! One more week until the first football game!"
I sigh. "I'm not going to practice, my brother and I are going to see a counselor."
She nodded. "That's good Lourdes, y'all are siblings. Think of it as something great."
"I guess." That whenI looked up and seen Christian walking over.
"Hey Mariah, can I holla at your girl right quick". He asks smiling at me
Mariah nodded. "Yea, Lour Just text me. I'm going to the gym." With that she walks away.
"Sooo I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date this weekend." He grabbed my hand
My heart was beating fast. "Sure. Just text me the details."
He smiled. "Okay, well I have to go handle some business see you later". He leaned in a kissed my cheek.
So come to find out, Christian works for Lamar. Crazy right. But he have to do what he has to do. ——- —— My brothers and I were sitting in the room with the counselor. "So tell me you all names and the order" Dr. Johnson says
"I'm Lamar Williams, 26 years old and I'm the oldest."
"Lorenzo Williams, 25 years old, second oldest"
"LeGarrien Williams, 24 years old, Third"
"Leo Williams, 23 years old, Fourth"
"Leon Williams, 22 years old, Fifth"
"Lamont Williams, 21 years old, sixth"
"Lourdes Williams, 17, seventh"
LAMAR WILLIAMS POV "So, our mother abandoned us and left us with our father. He had a mental break down and we was sent to the group home. But we was split up. Lorenzo, LeGarrien, Lourdes, and Leo was at one group home and Lamont, Leon and I were at another. Between all of us we been to like 60 group homes. But one group home we was together, that's when we ran away. But we left Lourdes." I tell Dr. Johnson.
Dr. Johnson nodded. "Why did y'all leave y'all baby sister, with those strangers."
"Because I felt like she would've had a better life. The life we was living wasn't okay of a toddler. We was living a broke down car behind a corner store. Not knowing when we was going to eat. I just felt like I was doing the right thing." I said
"Lourdes so how do that makes you feel?" Dr. Johnson asks
She shrugged. "I just feel betrayed. Like we didn't have parents. We have different dads. As my older brothers I think you would be more protective over your baby sister."
"Lourdes Let's Hear from you".
LOURDES WILLIAMS POV "I can't remember much because i was a toddler. But when they left I spent like 3 more years in foster care. It was hell, I was abused. Mentally and physically. I went without food. I was molested, it was hard. I still face problems today because of it." I tell her
"So When was the last time you seen your mother?" Dr Johnson asks
I rubbed my chin. "I'll say 3 years ago, she was on the corner. She a crack head."
"Wow, When was the last time you seen your father?" She writes on her note pad
"I've never met him." When I said that she stops and looks at me
"I'm just broken person, I live with my grandparents. His mom and dad. I love my grandparents to death. We live in poverty. We go without many days. I just pray to god that he bless us." I tell Dr. Johnson
Dr. Johnson was looking through some papers. "So it tells me you tried to commit suicide when you were 14"
When she said that all my brothers looked at me with sad eyes.
"Yea, I suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar and PTSD. I was just tired of suffering and feeling so worthless. So I took half a bottle of some pills and when I woke up, I was crying. I was so upset that I didn't die. I'm very insecure." I started getting teary eyed
That's when Lamar broke down crying. Lorenzo started rubbing him on his back.
