Chapter 39

Camila'sP.O.V.

I woke up not remembering when I had fell asleep.

Austin was next to me.

I got up immediately.

I remembered the picture from last night.

"Camila what's wrong?" Austin said noticing I got up extremely fast.

"My parents.I don't know who has them or have the smallest clue who could've done it and Sophia.I don't know who has her. She wasn't in the picture. I'm worried."I said.

He got up,he had no shirt on.

He hugged me and said.

"I promise you we'll find them."He said.

"No you can't promise me that."I said.

He cupped my face.

"But we can try."He said.

I nodded.

I didn't really worry as much for my parents. They were usually never around so its the same thing.I am concerned about what they're going to do to them.Sophia is the one I'm dying to know about.I'll call my grandmother to maybe check if Sophia is with her. I have a little hope in that.

I dialed her number and called.

"Abuela?" I said.

"Camila?"She said.

"Yes is Sophia with you?"I asked.

"Si si mija.Why?"She asked.

"Oh um, My mom and dad are missing. Somebody sent me a picture and their heads had a plastic bag over it and they were strapped to a chair and, I don't know where they are."I said holding back tears.

I know I said I'm not worried but they are my parents.

"Oh my god Camila and what are you going to do?"She asked.

"I don't know, I'm scared to death.They have my number and abuela que hago?" I asked.

"Well you have to call the police."She said.

"Si ok I'm gonna do that right now. I'll talk yo you later. Love you."I said.

I hanged up after she said bye.

"You love who?"Austin asked raising his eyebrow.

"My grandmother."I said. I never knew he was this jealous.

I dialed nine one one.

"Nine one one what's your emergency?"They said.

"I'd like to report two missing people."I said.

"Go ahead."They said.

"My mom and dad."I said.

She asked a couple more questions and I described my parents and gave her their names.

I asked what I should do and she said not to do anything because they would take care of it. I'm not allowed to since I'm underage.

"So what'd they say"Austin asked.

"They told me not to do anything."I said.

"Well damn. They have no fucking heart."He said.

I looked down. At the least I know Sophia is okay.

I decided to wipe off this depressing mood and go see what every one else is doing downstairs.

They all fell asleep on the couch and some on the floor.
