Jonah's Pov
"I don't know all I heard was horns and I got out of the car to read the license and call the ambulance then I recognized it was hers" I say following the doctors
"We'll take it from here. Feel free to wait in the lounge, we will be doing an MRI and we'll go from there" the doctor says
"Can I see her" I ask worriedly
"I'm guessing you're her boyfriend" he asks
"Well. No, I'm her best friend" I correct
"I'm sorry but only family" he says then walks away.
I take my phone out of my pocket and immediately call Corbyn.
"Where are you Jonah it's been almost 2 hours" He asks
"The hospital" I answer.
"What!" He yells "what's wrong" he asks
"Some truck flipped Maggie's car while she was trying to find Daniel" I say "Listen they said she's gonna be unconscious for a little" I say
"I'm gonna kill Daniel" he says
"Can you get down here please" I ask
"On my way" he says and hangs up
I pace back and forth praying Maggie's gonna be ok.
After about 20 minutes the boys run into the room out of breath.
"Where's Maggie" Zach asks
"Is she ok" Jack asks
"Where's Daniel" Corbyn asks looking around
"He's not here" I answer "And they're doing an MRI right now" I say
"Is she gonna be ok" Jack asks worried
"I.I don't know" I say sitting down
"Of course she will, she's strong enough to beat anything" Corbyn says
"Even a crash" Zach sadly says
"I'm here" Michelle yells running in with Logan behind her. "My baby" she says sitting down covering her face
"What happened" Logan asks "Where's Daniel" he asks
"This is all because of him" Corbyn angrily says
"Hey, it's nobodies fault" I say
I explain what happened from the fight to when she left and what happened.
"Daniel's gonna fucking die" Michelle angrily says
"Mister Marais." A doctor calls
"Yes" I say jumping out of my seat and going over to the doctor
"She went into immediate surgery" he says
"What why" I ask
"We have to get the glass out of her body before she all her blood. I'm afraid she did loss a lot. You are very lucky she's alive right now, you could have easily lost her on scene, if you didn't call that instant she would have died" he explains "Then the doctors have to check her legs and right arm because she broke them" he says
I stand there shocked. Maggie could have died. She would've been gone. Oh my god.
I turn around and everyone looks at me.
"Sh.she could have d.d.died" I stutter
Michelle let's out sobs as Zach tries and comfort her. Logan gets up and goes to talk to doctors, Corbyns calling Maggie's Family and Jack stands there with no expression.
"I'm calling Daniel" I say taking my phone out
I step outside and call him. I call about 4 times and on the 5th try he finally answers
"What" he says
"I hope you're happy Daniel because Maggie almost lost her life trying to find you at like midnight. You are so lucky the doctors said she's alive because I don't know how I could live or you could live knowing this was your fault. The least you can do now is come down to the hospital." I say a little mad. Before he has time to answer I hang up
I walk back in and Michelle seems like she's crying even more.
Time skip
Michelle calmed down and she's sitting impatiently waiting to see Maggie. Then Daniel walks in. Michelle glares at Daniel and jumps at him but Logan picks her up just in time.
"Put me down" she screams
"I need to know you won't hurt him" Logan says
"I won't" she says
Logan puts her down and she walks towards Daniel until he's backed up against the wall.
"If Maggie didn't fucking survive this, I promise you would be the next one in the hospital bed. You are so fucking lucky she loves you because this is what happened. This is what fucking happened because she was worried about you being mad at her. I hope you're happy now, because of you she's unconsciously sitting in surgery getting glass taken out of her body with with 2 broken legs and one broken arm." Michelle angrily says
She sits down and lays her head on Zach's shoulder as tears fall down her face. Daniel stands there hurt.
"W.when is she going to w.wake up" Daniel asks
"Never" I doctor says
All our heads shot over to the doctor standing at the door.
