Maggie's Pov
"I'm gonna miss you mommy" I say pouting
"Sweetie, I promise it's going to be fun. You can make new friends" my mom says kneeling down in front of me.
"Can I make a best friend" I say smiling
"Of course you can honey" she says kissing my forehead.
"Bye mommy" I say waving my hand.
"Bye Maggie" she says as she turns her heals and walks away.
I walk into class and find a colouring table and run to it.
"Mommy I don't want you to leave me" a boy says crying
"Daniel. I'll be back before you know it" a woman says
"Please don't be long" the boy says
"I won't" was the last thing I heard
I turn my head and see a teary eyed boy. I walk over to him so I can introduce myself.
"Hi! I'm Maggie" I say cheerfully
"Hi Maggie" the boy says wiping away the tears in his eyes. "My name is"
"Daniel" I say smiling
"How did you know that" he says tilting his head
"Because, I heard your mommy say it" I say pulling him into a hug.
"Want to be best friends" I ask him
"Yaaa!" He says exited
And with that we spent the whole day together, laughing and talking. We played with blocks and we coloured also. Then we had to go back home.
"Mommy! Mommy!" I say tugging Daniel's arm running to my mom who was at the door.
"Ya" she says looking and my new friend Daniel Seavey and smile
"This is my best friend. Daniel. Daniel Seavey" I say giving her a big smile
"Hi Daniel" my mom says kneeling down.
"Hi Maggie's mom" Daniel says
"Daniel who's this" I women says walking over smiling
"Oh! This is Maggie Lawson. My best friend" he says smiling at his mom.
"I told you your gonna make friends" she says
Then we gather our thing while our moms talk.
Time skip
We get back home and I step out of my car and I look to my side and see a familiar face.
