A Fucken Idiot

(Somebody, either gender, is thinking how they could of handled their grandmas birthday better.)
I crept up behind her and, happy birthday! Then she died. Why did I think to surprise my 95 year old grandma with heart problems on her birthday. I'm a fucken idiot, thats why. I thought, this will be funny but hearing her breathe in like that, her clenching her chest. That wasn't funny. A year ago from today is when it happened. But every day it haunts me. If only I walked in front of her, if only I whispered, if only I weren't such a FUCKEN IDIOT! My mom walked in a minute after and the only thing she asked was, what'd you do? Nothing! I said. I told her that I walked in to her like that. But I did do something. And if I would of just... I'm just an idiot. A real, big, stupid FUCKEN IDIOT. And if I wasn't a idiot... She'd be turning 96.
