Chapter 42 - Expectation

After we fight Eris always get extra sweet to me. Naiisip ko tuloy na maghanap ng away para maging sweet siya sa akin.

After ng away tampuhan namin dahil sa selos sa isa't isa, hindi na kami nagaway pa ulit. I'm surprise to find that he is actually true to his words when he said that he won't get jealous with Cole again. Baka natauhan na siya at napagtanto na wala akong gusto kay Cole.

So instead of getting jealous, ang bagong trip niya ngayon ay asarin ako kay Cole.

"Kay Cole ka nalang tutal gusto mo siya kausap lagi." Sabi niya.

I looked up from his lap since I'm laying there. "Wag na, magselos ka pa."

"Don't mind me. It's okay. But I'm sure he won't make you as happy as I make you."

My eyebrows shot up. "Ay wow. Hindi ka naman masyadong bilib sa sarili mo noh?"

He pressed his finger in the middle of my forehead. "It's true."

"It is." I agreed.

I didn't say it before because I'm afraid that I might jinx it. But who cares? I'm happy! And I'm happy that Eris is making me happy.

"Ano palang plano ng friends mo?" I asked.

May labas nanaman kasi ang barkada niya at sinasama niya ako.

"Tambay lang siguro. Unless may iba kang gusto? We can not go if you don't want." 

Hinampas ko ang dibdib niya since 'yun ang abot ko. "Ano ka ba. Wala naman akong sinabing ayaw ko. Nagtatanong lang naman ako ayaw na agad. Sino ba mga kasama?"

Biglang tumaas ang kilay niya at tumungo para tignan ako. "Sino ba gusto mong kasama? Sabihin mo lang at sisiguraduhin kong kasama siya."

I know who he's talking about. But I won't humor him. Instead I teased him more by playing innocent. "Sino ba? Ikaw lang naman ang gusto kong kasama."

"Let's be honest here, babe."

I smiled. I like when he calls me babe.

"I like you. I do."

"Like." He muttered more to himself. Then he brushed a thumb to my eyebrows down to my cheeks before cupping my jaw. "I love you, Mor."

I opened my mouth to say my reply but nothing came out. I love you too. It so easy to say it back but I couldn't.

Umiling siya. "I know. You don't have to tell me anything."

My reply was to pull his head down to kiss him. I poured the words I couldn't say to the kiss. I know he understand but I still feel apologetic and embarrassed as to why I couldn't say the words.

I heard the knocking first before the banging came. 

"Cole." Eris muttered in my mouth.

I giggled and tried pushing him away. I asked him to open the door. Nilock niya kasi 'yung second lock. Wala sa kanila ang may susi doon dahil hindi naman nila normally nilolock 'yun.

Another banging came. This time with some shouting.

"Buksan mo na kasi." Natatawa kong sabi kay Eris.

Humiwalay siya at sumandal sa pader. Nginuso niya sa akin ang pintuan. "Pagbuksan mo 'yung crush mo."

I made a face before going to the door.

"What the fu--" Hindi natuloy ni Cole ang sasabihin dahil inangat niya ang tingin at nakita ako.

"Now I know. Fuck alam ko na!" He said while shaking his head.
