As the city was being painted white, a man stood on the edges of the city filled with never ending life. as the lights shined from the epicenter the man stood at the beginning of a bridge. the breeze pulling it's share of life through the air, making the calm river a bed of pure beauty. The man took one step after another, one foot in front of the other. The crunch of the snow beneath his boot was in a way relaxing to the ear. He continued walking on the bridge over the river that flowed beneath. the sound of water barely moving, the crunch of the snow, the whistle of the wind, and the faint sound of life coming from the city mixed with the beauty of the water, and snow falling down onto the earth from the heavens made a scene that one could die for. The man stopped in the middle of the bridge and faced the body of water that was lit up from the city lights. the man took in the beautiful scenery, listening to the sounds, observing the scenery. The ringing of a phone broke it all taking all attention away form the solitary atmosphere. "Hey! this is Diana. sorry I missed your call, I'm probably doing something important so ummmm leave a message or something and I'll get back to you, Kay? Kay! Bye!" *Beeep* The man stared at his phone in silence. A smile crept upon his face, he couldn't help but chuckle. "Well you did it, you who never gave up. You changed me, you changed how I live my life, you changed my morals, my needs, my wants, you changed everything. Honestly I'm surprised, I didn't think it was possible. So I'd like to start of with Thank you, truly thank you. You dragged me out of my hell, and that's truly something. you were able to make me see the good in life. You really are amazing you know that? I had this all planned out on what to say and here I am mumbling who knows what, I'm at a loss for words. Even I can coward sometimes. You once said you wanted my redemption, so here is my present to you tonight. My redemption, my retribution for all the wrong I've done in this life. Merry Christmas Diana, and Goodnight." As the man finished speaking the phone slowly slid out of his hand falling into the water. The man simply watched no longer smiling. he could feel the cold air greater then before. he could feel the tears run down his face. He could feel the gun that he has pressed against himself. He dared not turn to look at the life of the city, instead looked onto the beauty of the darkness. he once again smiled, yet this time it was filled with sadness. Nobody could hear the sound of the gun going off with the noise coming from the Christmas parades. Nor was anybody around to witness the pure white snow bleed red. The mans death went noticed to the people happily celebrating with their loved ones. The mans death went unnoticed to those heartbroken and alone. The mans death went unnoticed to all. Slowly the red snow once again became white, and the mans body dissipated from view. ( I'm so boreddddddddd)
