I've been lost in the dark for years. To the point where I fear the light more then the dark. So please understand that when you cane into my life shining so brightly, I was terrified. I was terrified that I'd get used to the light, that I'd come to expect the light, and that I'd be unprepared to be thrown back into the darkness. You make me yearn for the light I despise, you make it seem worth it, but I'm still scared. So please don't blame me if I mess up, I'm just trying to survive, trying to not fall deeper into the pit you made me realize that I was in. I want you to know, even if I'm scared, even if I mess up, I will always try my best for you. You've shown me happiness I could only dream of, the happiness I was always scared of having. For you though, I will take that chance, I will believe in the light you bring into my world.
