The Next Step Of Love

Ming woke up the next morning and rubbed his heavy eyelids, his head is still dizzy from the effects of the alcohol.

"Good morning, darling!" Forth greets him from the wheelchair, while watching him sleep. "How was your sleep?"

Ming got up from a reclining position and sat back on the couch, massaging his head lightly, and looking confused at Forth. "Forth?" Ming exclaimed. "How I fall asleep here? Where is N'Beam? " He glanced around the room and found no one there except Forth.

"Don't you remember what happened last night?" Forth asked.

Ming moved his eyes and tried to recall what he did. "Yes, I remember, I drank at the Pub and felt a little dizzy so I decided to go back to the hospital, to clear my head..." he said. "But I do not remember how I sleep here..."

"You do not just sleep here, you even try to seduce me when you were drunk last night..." Forth told him. "I did not know that you miss me so much, honey...I'm so sorry about my condition..."

"I...what?! Are you serious?" Ming exclaimed surprised. "Wh-what am I did? Didn't you stop me? Then N'Beam?"

Suddenly the door opened and Beam stepped in with a look of annoyance at Ming.

"Are you awake, Doctor Ming?" He asked coolly. "Did you dream last night?"

Ming felt awkward by Beam's cold attitude towards him, he realized that Beam must have seen the inappropriate thing he did to Forth.

"Sorry to be troublesome..." Ming said softly and immediately rise from the couch. "I think I should go back home and clean myself..."

But Forth swiftly grabbed his arm and stop him for a moment. "You don't give me a morning kiss before you leave, honey?"

Ming's eyes widened instantly as he listens to Forth's request, occasionally he glances at Beam, but the man looked away, pretending not hearing anything and went to clean up Forth's bed.

Forth pouted like a child, staring straight at Ming. The man took a breath for a moment and tried to calm himself down and lower his head and kissed his lover's cheek, but Forth moved swiftly and catch the guy's lips with his. Ming jerked in surprise and retreated instantly as he pulled his hand off Forth.

"I-I have to go...see you soon..." he said awkwardly and immediately walked out. Forth smiled broadly in his spot.

"You have not realized yet?" Beam teased, shaking his head.

"Ha? What did you say?" Forth shouted and turned to Beam at once.

The man was silent for a moment and looked at Forth slowly. "Are you blind or numb? How long will you lie to yourself? You obviously know that in his heart is no place for you, he just feels sympathy for you and nothing more!" Beam said emotionally.

"How long will you maintain a relationship without a future like this? How long will you hurt yourself by pretending?"

Forth was silent and did not respond to Beam's words, but one by one, Beam's words penetrated into his heart, he realized that his relationship with Ming would meet the endpoint sooner or later, in fact Forth had long been aware of it in his heart.

"And I'll tell you one thing, once you recover and you are able to walk normally, he'll leave you immediately!"
