Curious eyes often wander
Searching for what they already have,
Looking at bigger bubbles floating around,
Ignoring the ones they're already surrounded by.

How easy is it to ignore happiness
For a happiness that isn't one's own,
So easily dismissing contentment,
Just to feel another's sentiment.

Pray, do stop, and take a moment,
To look around and see where you are,
With blessings countless and happiness complete,
Floating right behind your garden with no deplete.

Take a second to let absorb love
That the people around you share,
In forms often ignored and unnoticed,
Whose subtlety borders invisibility so missed.

The next when Nana cooks you what you love best,
Or when dearest Father walks with you at rest,
When loving Mummy is reluctant to let you out of her nest,
Walk into the bubble of joy they've so willingly embrace you in with zest.

The next when your friends hug you a little tighter,
And colleagues appreciate you even more so than slighter,
When love decides to make you a revigoured fighter,
Embrace the bubble they've so lovingly made around you brighter.

When strangers make you see the good that still exists,
Grace the fortunes that you're blessed with,
For chasing giant bubbles often blur realities
Where many don't have tiny ones to even begin with.

So stop trying to attain bigger joys,
Your bubbles are happy enough too,
Try playing behind your garden a little more,
And you'll see how your bubbles of joy are ready to soar.
