Bella took a shaky breath and tightened her sleeve around her wrist. Her hands were shaking almost as much as the rest of her body.
She knocked on the basement door, preparing herself to get yelled at for bothering her dads while they were working.
"Uh... Dads?" She called out. She was extremely surprised by not getting yelled at yet.
"Yea Bella?" Josh asked. He was not in the mood to play games, but Bella was too scared for those at the moment.
"D-do you guys mind if Bren comes on tour with us?" She asked. She allowed her hair to fall in front of her eyes as she stared at her feet.
Not paying attention, Josh answered with a "Sure." And went back to work.
"Wait really?" Her right hand let go of her left sleeve and her eyes shot up from her shoes so fast that her hair whipped back out of her eyes.
"You'll probably get bored in the bus all day. You need a friend, right?" Tyler asked from the floor. He smiled. At least he was paying attention.
