The static in my vision
Blinds me, makes me question
But your light takes the static away
That's why I want you to stay
You know I miss your electricity
You took away my toxicity
Honestly I miss your smile
Honestly I've missed it for awhile
I heard a song one time
Replaying it feels like a crime
Hearing it feels like a sin
Playing it on the piano feels like the touch of your skin
Well maybe falling in love is easy
But thinking about it makes me kinda queasy
I just wish you hadn't fallen in love with her
I wish we could be what we were
Well we aren't friends
We always tied up those ends
And I know you're scared
But I promise you won't be unprepared
Hold my hand just one last time
Make it count, tell me you're mine
Lie to me and tell me were alright
Before we get back home and have a fight
Fingers gently graze the keys
Playing always makes time freeze
Music you wrote from my head
Music that makes me feel less dread
I silently wish you knew
But baby you don't have a clue
The noises inside my head haunt me
I'll never hear your voice in my vicinity
Static is louder than words
It's stabbing me with swords
Always blurring my vision
Always always makes my decision
Rain again the window sill
Hold my hand, hold me still
Tell me my words you believe
Before you get up and leave
The Static in my vision
Blinded me, made me question
But your light took the static away
That's why I wanted you to stay
