You've become everything that makes me scared
All the terrors I ever knew
Are nothing compared
To the hell of knowing you
From the moment we met
I saw something in your eyes
I knew it was something I wouldn't get
But I listened to your lies
I wanted to be more
I stupidly chose you
I never could've seen the war
Of what you were going to do
Down the line you left me for dead
You said 'I thought you knew'
I take back everything I said
Because I'm learning how to hate you
I always thought you were so sweet
I thought we would grow old
But you're just filled with deceit
I should've listened to what I was told
Just tell me this,
How did we go from talking everyday
To the sickening silence
Of not having a word to say?
Well you weren't there when I needed you
So you can't blame me
You said you always had things to do
That's why I decided to leave it be
Well the day came to an end
And the nightmares are no abnormality
The twists turns and bends
Repeatedly in my mentality
The reoccurring hell
Of my haunting dreams
I never stop hearing them yell
The never ending screams
But everything that makes me scared
All the terrors I ever knew
Are nothing compared
To the hell of once knowing you
