"Come on Nida, it won't take long!"

"No Daniel. We are at school!"

"So? We can still get out of here and have some fun."

"Not happening."

"Please! Don't you love me?"

"That's not fair!"

"Let's just sneak out of here and-"

"Daniel I'm not cutting class just to go get ice cream with you, in the middle of winter might I add." I finally declare.

He has been proposing stuff like that for days now. Every two minutes, he's either texting me during class and saying "let's ditch" or whispering to me his schemes of leaving school to do something fun, his main point of persuasion being "Don't you love me?" The guys think it's funny, the sexual innuendos through the roof every time he'll say something along those lines at school. After we had sex, it's as if we walk around with a big neon sign that declares it, but only our friends can understand it. I'm not embarrassed or anything, but our friends wouldn't be themselves if they didn't make fun of us.

Other than a clingy boyfriend and slightly obnoxious friends, school has been just the same. Everyone is getting very excited for Christmas break that's coming up in a week, it being the only thing keeping us going at this point. Teachers have given up on taming the group of heathens we call seniors, and have just given us busy work to keep us occupied. If we are being honest, even the teachers seem ready for break.

Sitting in history class with Daniel, we (well, I) do the book work assigned to us by our substitute teacher. Mrs. Needle-Man has been gone for the past few days because she took her vacation early, so we've been stuck reading primary sources and trying to figure out what the hell these dead people are trying to portray with their works. Daniel, for the most part, has gotten the answers out of me because I "love him and can't allow him to fail".

History class has never been my favorite for a variety of reasons, one of them being the people in it.

"Hi Daniel!" Kasey squeals, causing the two of us to look up from our work. An immediate frown finds itself on my face, just the thought of this girl making me jealous and angry. Seeing her makes me think of what Daniel could have, what he could leave me for. He could have so much better than me, a prime example being right in front of us. She's pretty, smart, appealing (I guess), everything he could want.
