I always avert my gaze from his eyes. I'm afraid.
I'm terrified that if I stare deep, I might get devoured by it.
His stares are so deep like dimples and if I dive right in,
I'm afraid I won't come up for air anymore.
I'm frightened by the thought that he'll read me and my soul.
I am scared to death that he might know
That I'm falling madly in love with him
And he won't be able to reciprocate it back.
