Less than 24 hours ago, one of the most amazing people on earth at this time passed away. Her talent, determination and beautiful words will be missed dearly. This is dedicated to Maya Angelou.
Why these souls are stolen from
This world, I don't know why.
But they are all so dearly missed
It's hard to say goodbye.
I wish them all the luck as they
fly into the unknown.
Leaving us so scared and lonely,
Completely on our own.
It's sad when people so memorable
Are forced to say goodbye,
But hopefully they're in a better place.
In a poet's heaven, she lies.
