A month after Akeilia and Leon had sex.

Michael POV

"I want one more". I looked around the crowded place. It's been years since I came here. They fixed the place real good.

"Mr Perry I think that is enough for tonight". I glared at him.

"Carl when I was f*cking fifteen or seventeen you had all right to say that to me. Now I'm twenty one. I said one more". I slammed the shot glass on the counter.

He held me by the collar and almost drew me over the counter. I looked into the fierceness of the tall middle aged man who even though is up in age, his features we're still there. He was also the guy who used to advice me. He didn't looked like he aged a bit. His charm was also still there. As in his looks. I wasn't one to admirer men. Never! But it was true. His charm was still there. He was like a second father to me.

"You might be f*cking twenty one but I'm more than double your age. I knew you from the devil was a baby and you've never disrespected me so don't you start now. Mr Perry or not I'd still kick your ass". He pushed me backwards and I landed on my butt back on the seat, but I almost fell backwards before I gained control. I knew people saw. But in that place, nobody really cared.

Carl was what I'd call a well respected man. He looked out for others. I had no intention to get angry at him. My mind was too occupied by the woman who had my heart. Even if I'd fell I wouldn't be this bit angry. He was a tough guy back then. You wouldn't dear challenged him in a fight.

"Carl gi mi a shot of whiskey will ya!"

I rested my head on my hand which was on the counter. Tears welled up in my eyes and I couldn't do anything than let the tears fell.

I quickly wiped my eyes while my head was still down. When I looked up, Carl eyes and I made four. It was as if he was studying me.

"Hey man, didn't you hear me order!" I looked at the guy.

"What you looking at bitch!" I frowned and straighten myself. I just wanted him to say something disrespectful to Carl. If only he had said it. A fist fight would've been great that moment. I wanted to get rid of some of the emotional pain.

"Michael forget him". I looked back at Carl.

"I'll be back". He walked over to the guy, took his money and pour him his drink then walked back over to me.

"Your heartbroken aren't you?"

"Nothing a guy can't handle". I replied with a smirk that I somehow knew made me looked stupid. Especially since I was drunk.

"Then why were you crying". I got serious. My thoughts drifted back to Akeilia. Why did I had to love her so much? She wanted nothing to do with me, after everything we'd been through. I thought she'd at least liked me enough to spoke to me. What happened to her? She didn't even allowed us to talk about it.

"Is it that girl that you were all over the news with couple years back?" I nodded.

"Michael, if she's really gone, she's gone for good. When a woman mind is made up that's that. But if there's still something there for you she'll come around...even though, I don't know if it's that bad". I glared at him.

"Thanks a lot, your advice... really helped". A small burp escaped my mouth. He shrugged.

"I tried. You know I'm not the emotional TOG". He frowned.

"If you wanna stay a while more to enjoy the music and such fine, but no more alcohol. By the way I'm calling you a taxi. You ain't gonna drive like that. I'll make sure your car is secure". He walked off to serve other customers.
