A firm hand rested on my shoulder. I looked at the girl, a hand also rested on her shoulder. She was crying again, but this was different from the night before. This was fear.

"I thought I recognized that face," the fearsome man said to the girl, "Wait until Cohen hears about what you've been up to now."

I looked up at the fearsome man in white. His blonde hair was cropped close to his head. He was the same man who had opened the door for the nurses the day before.

Something in his dim blue eyes assured me whatever was going to happen next would not be good.

"Who's your friend?" he said and tightened his hand on my shoulder.

I flinched under the sting of his grip.

The man studied his glass board until something he saw turned the corners of his mouth up.

"It looks like this is your lucky day girls," the man said.
