So I published that chapter 10 months after I planned the last bit :)
I also planned lots of the boat trip in that week but I won't bore you with anymore :)
Also, on that ski trip I learned a bit more about friends, which ones are good and which ones aren't.
March 2017
It's weird but I honestly don't remember a single thing that happened that month. I guess I went up he mountains a bit, went to school went home etc etc... this was the time I should have been studying for my GCSE's but stuff was going down in the boat trip so I decided to make that my priority instead :3 -also it was my dog, Jake's 14th birthday
April 2017
Again, not much happened this month except school, my dads birthday! Oh! And Easter eggs!! I can't remember exactly when Easter was but I brought Easter eggs to the cinema long before lent started and all the way through! I love this time of the year because chocolate is everywhere!
May 2017
This is when my first GCSE exams took place. If you aren't familiar of what GCSEs are, they are the General Certificate of Seconday Education- and if that doesn't help you- they are basically the last exams of school. The ones I did last year were modules, so they were important but they weren't incredibly important, many of them were only 11% of my overall grade.
June 2017
I didn't tell you about my job. Yes, for almost two years I had a job as a babysitter every Thursday. I was paid the minimum wage to looked after two little girls called Yasmin and Lara. Lara was always asleep when I came as she was only 3, but Yasmin was 6 and I had to tell her a story.
But Yasmin didn't like me to merely just pick up a book from the shelf and read it. She wanted me to make up a story about our two characters 'the boy and the girl' who were brother and sister. So every Thursday I got so stressed out, I had to make up random stories, but sometimes they stuck. Stories like the Easter special where the boy and the girl went to a chocolate planet or where they dug a tunnel to Australia. Anyway, in June the people I babysat explained to me that they were moving house. So as a last goodbye present I put all my effort into printing out a children's book of all the stories I ever told her and left little blank spaces for her to draw pictures.
That was the first book I ever put on paper :)
July 2017
This was, for the most part, amazing. I finished school and went on holiday to Corfu. We stayed in a tiny little 3* hotel and hired a jeep, we drove to lots of tiny little beaches along the coast of the island, it was such a cool relaxing holiday, just what I needed. I remember writing the boat trip beside the pool with an insane view..
But it was all too good to be true. A couple days after we came home my old dog, who was blind and deaf, walked under the car and died. As he was otherwise fine, this was really unexpected and I spent the next month in shock, even today I'm still so horrified about Jake dying and I miss him so much.
August 2017
As I said, I spent most of this month feeling so sick because Jake died in such a horrible way and knew he deserved so much more.
I felt so down because I didn't have a dog, even the cats seemed upset. And to make things worse I didn't get particularly pleasing GCSE results.
September 2017
I went back into school this month, this is supposedly my last year of school, but as my school does sixth form I might stay on.
My mum kept telling me off for being anti social this year :p, I mean she loves me and all but I get it I don't go out enough. The people in my year go out wearing basically nothing to nightclubs and get drunk listening to really bad dubstep covers of really bad songs. I'd rather just sit at home, in comfy clothes, with a couple cats, listening to frank sinatra and reading a good book. -I get it, I'm a bit of a granny-
I turned 16 on the 10th of September and I ate lots of cake. It was about this time when I found out that JK Rowling has a pseudonym called Robert Galbraith. I loved the Cormoron Strike series and that's when I got into crime novels ;)
We also, to ease my dog-less hole, got a puppy this month, and she really made me happy again :)
October 2017
I decided that I wanted the puppy to like me the most, so I trained her to sit, lie down, and roll over in one day. I was such a pro, but I sort of gave up after that. It was about this time when I finished the Boat Trip and im telling you that no one has ever felt the way I felt when I pressed publish on the last chapter. I also did a 10 years later chapter but hardly anyone saw it :p
The day before Halloween I went to my friends party and I sort of went all out with the Halloween makeup and made myself into a skeleton. ''Twas good fun.
On Halloween Yasmin and Lara came over to trick or treat, they really made my night, I hadn't seen them in ages ;) we got to more trick or treaters tho, we live in a very isolated area :p
November 2017
I signed up on the Florence trip for next February, yes, apparently I have to go to Italy every February. (I'm not complaining!)
It was this time when I realised the mistakes of made in my books Happenings and What Happened, I made the children too good, Emily, Ash, Rosie and James all got to really good universities. That rarely happens in real life. I made that happen because that's what I wanted to happen to me, but I know I'm never going to get to Cambridge or Oxford. I should have made one of them fail, or one of them really struggle, because no one should be expected to get a million A*s. In other words, I made it seem easy to do insanely well in life and it's not, so what ever happens to you in your future, you're amazing and who cares what our grades are :)
December 2017
I did lots and lots and lots of tests. I got Okay results but because I have an amazing friend who's lowest score in a test is 96% i felt a bit self conscious :p
On Christmas Day I was really lucky and got a canon camera :) I've always loved making short movies and this was really going to help me ;)
So that's, basically it.
2017 hasn't been the best year for me, I lost my bestest friend in the world but i am slowly getting over him and I hope that by the end of 2018 I will be able to think of my old dog without bawling my eyes out.
This year has been, however, amazing on wattpad. I don't know how you found me, I don't know exactly when it was. But knowing that I'm every chapter I can at least get a response, even if it's a sarcastic one by Carla, is really good :)
Thanks to everyone- you know who you are :) xx
Happy new year.
