black and white. up and down. good and evil. hot and cold. light and dark. farkle and raina faith.

the two, in farkle's mind, are opposites. although the scientific genius believes that opposites attract, it seems that in his and raina's case, that is one hundred percent false.

he was the nerdy kid and she was the pretty girl. she was popular. he was...kinda known. she could better everyone's mood from simply walking in. farkle could light up a room by simply leaving it.

when riley matthews proposes a scheme, farkle goes along with her mischievous idea. he texts raina, and she has no clue who he is. despite the drama farkle's friend group is going through and raina's struggles at friendship, the pair seem to find comfort in knowing that they are just one text away from the other.

throughout the journey of their budding romance, farkle realizes maybe opposites don't matter because despite her name, raina is his sunshine.
