Zeke's POV

I chose Dauntless cause that's what my aptitude said and what I want.

The new and old Dauntless run down the stairs of the Hub, out feet pounding against the stairs.

I spot Tris and Uriah, so I make my way over to them.

"Hey!" I shout over the thundering feet as we pass the 10th floor.

"Zekey! give me a piggy back ride to the train!" Tris squeals like a 2 year old. But I bend down and let her jump on my back. That's when I notice the Abnegation transfer lagging behind.

So I walk over to him while the black clothed people line up and wait for the train. Also with Tris on my back.

"Hey, your Tobias right?" I say sticking out my hand.

"I'm Zeke and this is my sister Tris" he shakes it with hesitation and let's go.

Tobias was about to say something but the train comes.

Tobias got on the train in a clumsy heap. So I helped him up.

"So what's the compound like?" He asks. Weird a curious Abnegation.

"One word. Dangerous" I say with a slight chuckle just to see his reaction. Which was really funny.

But the rest of the train ride there we talk and laugh.

"But hey! I grew it back" I point to my right eyebrow. I just told him the story of Tris shaving my right eyebrow.

"What about you. You have any siblings that you left behind?"

Tobias's expression changes from happy to depressed in seconds.

"My mother died giving birth to my sister and right after the baby was born she died too." He says in a low voice and I know I hit a touchy subject.

Trying to cheer him up I say "You know, I already consider you as a friend Tobias. So what'd ya say, friends?" putting my hand out to shake.

He takes it has repeats "Friends."
