Death's POV

"You gotta be kidding me, Sebastian" I mumbled to my self as I look down on my phone.

Soul:
Oy! Subukan mo namang magpakabait kahit konti kay Zoi. Kawawa naman yung tao, sinusungitan mo kahit ang bait bait satin!

One of my eyebrows instantly rose when I finished reading his message. The hell with him??? Why should I try to act nice towards the creature??

Before I could even type a single letter to reply, another message came.

Soul:
If you don't act nice towards her even a little, I'll tell your cousins you really are going out with her! Alam mo naman siguro kung anong magiging reaksyon nila kapag sinabi ko yun?

I shut my eyes, trying to calm myself before sighing. I really want to take his soul out of his body right now!!

I threw a glance towards his friend who is now sitting on the table across mine. The creature looks down again for some reason.

Before I even knew it, I already replied to Soul's message.

Me:
Okay.

What the hell did I just agreed to?? And...

Why in hell am I carrying my plate and walking towards the table where Soul's friend is sitting???

"Death!" it looked and sounded surprise when I sat beside its chair.

"Eat" I commanded. I saw it smiled in my peripheral vision then excitedly started to eat.

First, you held its hand unconsciously which surprisingly calmed you. Then you agreed to be a little nicer even if you don't really give a d*mn if your cousins think you're going out with anyone. And now this?! You sat beside it to eat lunch! What the hell is wrong with you, Death Reaper Cruz???

Zoi's POV

Mabilis lang natapos ang lunch namin ni Death since pareho kaming tahimik na kumakain.

"Do you still want to check your last guardian?" tanong ni Death pagkatayo sa upuan niya.

"Hmm, wag na siguro. Mukhang okay naman sila ni Quen eh" sagot ko.

"Then let's start your training. Shall we?" seryosong tanong niya.

Papalabas na kami ng restaurant nang makasalubong namin ang mga kapatid ni Light, sila Thunder at Storm.

"Zoi" nakangiting bati ni Thunder sakin pero agad na sumeryoso ang mga mata niya nang mabaling ang tingin kay Death. "Grim Reaper"

Nilingon ko si Death sa gilid ko at nakitang poker face niyang tinitigan ang dalawa. "Danforths"

"Where's Lightning?" tanong ni Storm sakin.

"Ah, nasa training si Light ngayo--"

"Let's go" putol ni Death sa sinasabi ko tas nilagpasan na niya yung dalawa.

"Uhh.. Sige, mauna na kami" paalam ko habang awkward na nakangiti sa kanila. Jusmiyo, parang si Lightning naman tong kasama ko, di marunong makipag-usap sa mga tao!

"Vongola" seryosong tawag sakin ni Storm kaya pareho kaming napalingon ni Death. "We should eat together sometimes" bigla siyang ngumiti pagkasabi nun kaya napatitig ako sa kanya. "Don't worry, since your guardians are all busy, you can bring Grim Reaper if you're doubting us. We just want to get to know our little brother's boss. That's all" nakangiti pa ring sabi niya but there's something about her smile that makes me uneasy.
