He nods and daps Ferg, "See? My guy, defend me."

"Fuck Olivia, Monse need to claim her man now, the real OG's are Ruby and Jamal, case closed," I shrug.

Amaiyah runs up to me with a wide grin and pulls on my shirt, "Mamá, mamá, come look!"

"Wassup princess?" I put my cup down and give her my full attention.

I hold her hand and she practically drags me to where Normani and Aaliyah is.

"Mamá, Mani taught us how to play Double Dutch!" Aaliyah smiles.

"Really? That's cool," I grin.

I look to Mani and she wiggles her brows while smiling proudly. I place my hand on her lower back and lean on to kiss her, "That's cute baby."

"Watch us," Amaiyah says while excitedly jumping up and down.

Aaliyah gives me the end of the ropes she was holding and stands next to Amaiyah. Mani and I stretch the rope out and start turning it.

The girls hold hands and after Amaiyah counts to three they jump in. I raise my brow at how well they're keeping up with the rope and smile at them, my little active babies.

"Y'all are doing so good," Mani squeals.

As the minutes pass, the girls are still jumping with Normani and I cheering them on frequently.

One of my phones go off and I give my end of the ropes to Amaiyah, I back up a few feet and check the message.

Stretch 🗡: Yo yo yo

Me: ?

Stretch 🗡: Boss wants you down here

Me: Does it have to be now?

Stretch 🗡: Yup, it's booming rn

I sigh and rub my forehead. Of all days, today? I chew on my lip and watch Normani and the girls, thinking how I can leave without looking like an asshole.

Me: Be there soon

I put the phone away and lean down to kiss the girls' cheek, "I'll be back later, okay?"

Amaiyah pouts and tilts her head, "Where you leaving?"

"I'm gonna get your gifts from Uncle Luke," I smile while rubbing her head.

They nod and go back to the rope, I stand up straight and meet Normani's stare. I try to figure out what to say to her and she continues moving the ropes while keeping her gaze on me. I give her a small smile and kiss her lips.

"Luke wants to talk to me about something but I won't be gone too long," I half lie.

She looks at me confused and asks, "All of a sudden he can't just come here?"

"Today, no. I'll be back in a few hours and I'll have more gifts."

"I know you're lying but I'm not gonna get into that right now," She says while gesturing to all the kids here.

I raise my brow and kiss her again, "You're thinking too hard."

She rolls her eyes and mumbles, "Whatever."

I place a kiss on her cheek and leave out the backyard, I get into the Maserati and quickly pull off so I can get this done as soon as possible. Within fifteen minutes I'm where I need to be and walk in, greeting people along the way. I go upstairs to where Luke is and throw my hands up.
