Camp Rush // Big Time Rush

Chapter 12: Birthday Cake.

Breakfast, it was always my favorite meal of the day.

But for the last few weeks I've lost my appetite.

I stared at the table James and Logan were sitting on.

James winked at me and I gave him a little smile.

I still had him.

I still had Dustin.

Kendall never left my mind, not a second.

There wasn't a day I didn't regret what I did to him.

James kept reminding me of what Kendall did to me.

He made the decision not to speak to Kendall ever again.

Unless he really had to.

I didn't want James to pick sides.

I never wanted for any of this to happen.

Friends shouldn't have to fight because of a girl.

Especially not when it's me.

Kathy had made some sort of quest for all the groups.

Signs, riddles, obstacles and all that.

We would all go, with the whole group.

"Can we win something?!" Chase asked me with a grin.

I shrugged, "I guess so? Kathy made it, so I actually know nothing about it!"

"Can we dress in camouflage clothes?" Bree smiled as she held up a drawing of her and Leah dressed up in camouflage clothes, including war paint on their faces.

I chuckled, "Yeah sure, that would be awesome!"

Leah gave me a thumbs up, "You wanna join?"

I frowned, "I only have a plain dark green top and some black shorts, will that do?"

"Yeah totally!" Bree cheered.

"Alright, I will go change then! I'll meet you guys at the cabins!" I smiled as I got up.

Taking off my polo, I heard my phone ringing.

I quickly threw on my top and answered the phone.

"Hey mom, yes I miss you too!" I sad as I was walking in circles.

I searched for my shorts and sat down on my bed, "Thanks! Nooo I'm not that old now!"

Flipping over on the bed I looked under it and found my shorts.

"No, no, it;s okay. I'll get my birthday present from you when I get home! No really mom, it's okay that I don't get it today! No worries!" I ensured my mom as I tried to put on my shorts with one hand.

Putting the phone between my ear and shoulder, I pulled up my pants and zipped them.

"Yes, I like it here. No they don't know it's my birthday today...." I sighed, "I don't want them to know, it's no big deal mom. Mhm, yes. Mhm, I love you too! Bye!"

I hang up on her and almost tripped over my shoes.

"There you are." I mumbled as I slipped on my Converse.

I opened the door and saw Kendall sitting on the couch.

"What are you doing here?" I said calmly.

He got up and walked to the door, "The group wanted me to come get you because they thought it was taking so long."

"Fair enough." I stated as I walked outside with him.

Logan and James' group was standing with ours and I saw Dustin and Carlos' walking towards us.
