Rosie's pov**

It's now later in the afternoon of the day mum and dad announced there big confession and I'm still freaking out about the fact that I'm going to be at a real freakin high school tomorrow.

I mean yeah sure jess is gone be with me, but holy mackerel I have no idea what it's gonna be like, or who will be there or what kind of food they have at the cafeteria..

Yeah ok I'm a weirdo, I have a list of things to worry about and one of my main things is the food.

It's only because I'm so used to being home and being able to choose what kind of food I have okay.

Also nervous about the fact that I have like no focus when it comes to school work.

Literally.

Almost none.

Mum basically has to bribe me to do my schoolwork.

Chocolate mainly works for me

Hehe

I mentally make a goal to myself that I will at least try and focus more because I think that it will do me well, plus never had a real teacher before so will probably be terrified at first of getting in trouble

I finish up having a red apple and some ice water when jess suddenly interrupts my thoughts

"Hey so I was thinking we should probably go down to the store and grab some stationary for school tomorrow, because I don't know about you but I got nothing" jess says

"Yeah definitely, I don't even think I have a bag pack" I chuckle

"Haha same, so shall we go then" jess says

"Yeah let me just grab my purse" I say heading up to my room.

Soon me and jess are heading down to the store, and I think to myself, I never thought in my life I would actually be with my best friend buying school stationary.

*couple hours later and some serious stressful stationary shopping*
~~~~~~~

"Phew! Thank god we are finally out of that shop, that old dude at the counter was seriously creeping me out with those pervert looks" jess says

I chuckle "yeah looks like someone had the hots for you" I smirk at jess

"Ew ew ew, I don't want to think about what was going through his mind, but from his looks it gave me chills down my spine" jess says

I chuckle as we chuck all our stuff in the trunk of the car

Me and jess then head home to go finish getting ready for school tomorrow

******** few minutes later

"Eeeek!" Jess squeals

"What!?" I say, a look of confusion on my face

"I just found the best 'first day at to school' outfit for you!" Jess says

"Oh I didn't know we were supposed to plan what to wear, I mean it's just school?" I say

"JUST SCHOOL!?" Jess yells

Causing me to automatically cover my ears from her extremely loud voice

"Oh Hun, it's not 'just school', its were some of the hottest boys in everdale go, plus not to mention the most judgmental place you will probably, most like will ever experience being, you got to look good" jess says with a look that says 'isn't it obvious'

Pfft how should I know all this I have never been to school before?

Wait a minute

Neither has jess?

So how the heck does she know?

Just as I'm about to ask her she again suddenly interrupts me-

"I know what you're thinking. How does she even know this she's never been to school before?" Jess says with a smirk

What the heck? That's exactly what I was gonna ask. Sometimes I never know how she can just read my thoughts like that

Then she continues with her answer

"Well you see I have this cousin who goes to Everdale high, and she told me every single little thing I should know and expect at high school, and now I need to teach you" jess says

"Uhh okay, but can you teach me over dinner, I'm starving and want food" I say

"Omg same, lets go" jess says before grabbing my arm and leading me downstairs.

Mum and dad have made pizza and we all sit outside on the deck enjoying the food as jess tells me everything she's learnt from her cousin about high school.

And from everything she's told me, ohhhh boy, it seems like it's gonna be more of a challenge then I expected.

But hey, what's the joy in life without challenges, am I right?

Once we've finished dinner, me and jess head back upstairs and start to get ready for an early start for school tomorrow.

I head in to the bathroom, tie my hair in a messy bun, brush my teeth, wash my face go toilet before heading back into my room, chucking on my baggy baby blue top and hopping into bed next to jess who got ready before me.

I grab my phone and set an alarm for 7:00am so that we're ready to leave by 8:00am and then it takes us 10 minutes to drive to school which starts at 8:20am.

Oh boy universe please wish me luck in getting jess awake that early.

I then decide to check my instagram since I haven't in a while.

I see that I have a friend request and go to see who it is

As I read the name I almost choke on my own saliva.

Jake Merna

Jake merna? As in the blue eyed devil, who betrayed me and tore my heart in two? Aka my mate..

Should I accept it?

Or should I decline?

After a few seconds of my mind arguing back and forth on what I should do I decide to not accept or decline, but to just leave it there so that he doesn't know if I've seen it or not.

"Okay we should probably get to sleep now" I say to jess

"Sounds good to me" she replies

We both put our phones on charge and head to sleep

It take me a while to get to sleep as I can't help the nervousness about going to high school tomorrow

But soon enough I am able to calm the nerves and start to drift off into sleep, but just one last thought pops into my mind before sleeps blacks over me...

Will jake be at school tomorrow?
