Sunny day smiles her away,
she stands stiff not letting him make her gay,
he tries and tries but to no avail,
sends an angel to guide her from going astray...

Taylor's POV:

haha, dee you're the best.... his voice haunts me, how can a person get so attached to someone in a small amount of time that their presence is still latched to you 24/7,

You try to walk away from it but the scene keeps replaying, again and again, my eyes travel to my fingertips, I rub them together,

You no longer see your skin, you see blood just blood when you lie down you hear their laugh, their cry, you try to block the torture but it's of no use, it's beneath your skin, it's like your dark side...

I see people being loaded in helicopters, looks like they are deported to safety like you can escape from death, my lips form in a mild smile, he was so innocent but did he got away from death's clutches, No!

Instead, his heart was ripped out of his innocent body, leaving it devoid of life, soul, innocence, he got robbed and I let it happen, I could've been more careful, how stupid I was to celebrate a birthday,

It was cold water to my sleepy, ignorant self, wake up silly girl! This ain't no normal world you are living in, this is a battleground and the opponent shows no mercy to anyone, all are life's pawns, it's every pawn for himself...

I stepped away from the window, the sun is too bright for me and my future, I no longer believe in happiness, in the beauty of life those who muttered these words were fools, mere fools something hit my leg,

Teddy! I picked it up even in this lifeless toy I see his reflection, he was like this toy, harmless unaware of brutalities, my tears believe in running free nowadays, I don't stop them,

When teardrops creep upon my skin, it is a confirmation that I still have some humanity left in me, the humanity that I need to bury before someone rips it out too,

A knock breaks my silent cries, they scream injustice, injustice but no one answers their pleadings... No one cares...

I opened my room to see Jean standing with a cake in his hand, offers me a pleasant smile, I let him in, his walk is slow, examining the mess I dwell in,

It used to be so perfect like my life, now it's scattered into pieces, "looks like an Avril hit this room", he tries to joke by comparing Avril to a storm, my head was down, it takes a lot of guts to smile again so I just let it slip,

He places the cake on my bed, "I heard, I am so sorry, I know it's a really hard time for you right now and my condolences won't help you much but I am here for you if you need me, Taylor", he sympathizes, his eyes were deep colored right now, he actually cared, I nodded mildly,

"I know how you feel, I once lost a loved one too", his face was getting paler, he was contemplating whether he should open up or not.

His right leg vibrating a bit depicting his anxiety, I've studied body language, it was an interesting subject, my curiosity fed upon it greatly, I always had admired people who could read someone's state of mind or body, it was impressive,

Right now Jean was an open book to me, he still suffers after the loss of his mother,

"You don't have to tell me that Jean, it's personal, it will hurt you later", I confessed, my mind was throwing me back again to that utter brutal moment,

"You will have to make peace with it Taylor, if you want it to let you go", he stated with a soft smile, his hand patted the bed, I sat right beside him, quiet for a while...
