A/n: NEW BOOK COVER! I like it, it was designed in a bit of a rush but it turned out well! I took the picture myself on a day that almost rained and the sun was glowing a peach color.
Renjun's such a little cutie~! I love him! He's grown so much in We Young compared to Chewing Gum, ahh! The My First and Last era lowkey had warning signs but we paid no attention.
This is just a cute school imagine, as I'm probably gonna do with the dreamies to set up a more realistic-ish plot.

"Hey Renjun, can you hang those snowflakes in the next hallway? I've got this one." His classmate said to him, nodding towards a box of paper snowflakes as he was holding another one.
Renjun had signed up for leadership in the beginning of the year, knowing that it would give him more credit for school. Little did he know that actual physical movement would be involved. But hey, he'd nothing else to do.
Having just finished his other task of putting up posters, he obliged and picked up the box and ladder propped up beside it. He left his friend to his own devices and started walking to the next hallway as he bumped into something, dropping the ladder and box.
"Ow!"
Renjun's eyes widen in shock as he realized he ran into a girl and went to help her up, totally ignoring the fallen snowflakes on the floor everywhere.
"I'm so sorry! Are you okay? I couldn't see where I was going," He puts his hand out for her and she takes it, shaking.
"I'm okay, it's fine. You're fine." She says, awkwardly laughing, scratching her head in the process. She wobbled and, as she started to put her weight on her leg, she fell again.
"Ah! My ankle, it hurts. I..." she paused awkwardly, "I think you're ladder hit my ankle as you dropped it..." Renjun looked at her leg and saw a bit of a bruise.
"Oh God, I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there, and I didn't think that any more students would still be in school this late! It's my fault for being so careless, I'm sorry." Renjun apologized profusely and Y/n had to calm him down.
"It's not entirely your fault, I didn't see where I was going, either." She held his shoulders to stop him from bowing repeatedly. He looked up and laughed, scratching his head.
"Let me help you to the nurses office, at least." He offered. "I can hang up these snowflakes later, they're not really a top priority." She nodded in agreement and smiled in thanks as he offered his shoulder. She slung her arm around them and he helped her get to the nurses office from there.
Luckily it wasn't too far away, just in the next hallway. They reached the door, and Renjun finally broke the silence.
"Are you okay leaning on the wall here really quick? I'm going to get the door." Y/n nodded and did so. He helped her to the wall then went to open the door.
"I have an injured student, she needs help getting through the door." He said quickly to the nurse on the other side of the counter.
"Oh my, thank you dear." She quickly stands up and heads outside. He follows after her and holds the door open for the both of them as they enter the nurse's office.
"Sit down here dear, I'll get my supplies ready." The nurse said, scurrying into the other room. Renjun sighed.
"Again I'm really sorry...?" Renjun said, trailing off.
"Y/n. And it's fine, really. It's not your fault." Y/n assures him again, noticing the way his face turns a cute pink color around his cheeks.
"Is there maybe a way I can repay you, Y/n? Like... buy you ice cream, or buy something else for you...? You know, since I probably just broke your ankle? My name's Huang Renjun." He offers shyly.
Y/n smiles as she's about to reply, when the nurse comes in.
"Alright dear, what happened to your foot?" The nurse asks sitting in front of them, opening up her kit.
Y/n and Renjun look at each other and start explaining.

As the nurse finishes patching up Y/n's wounds and giving her a crutch, she faces both her and Renjun.
"Go on now and be safe, and stop running into girls in the hallway holding ladders. As for you, miss L/n, you can stay here as I call your parents and inform them about what's happened."
They both nod as the nurse disappears behind her counter, and right as Renjun goes to leave the room, Y/n calls out for him.
"Wait! Renjun. I was gonna say yes to your offer. I'd love to maybe go to the boba place nearby after school tomorrow?" Y/n blushes and tucks a stray piece of hair behind her ear.
Renjun smiles and nods, "I'll see you tomorrow then?" Y/n smiles.
"Tomorrow."

Extremely sorry for the fact it's so short! I was actually working on an entire second part, where Renjun takes Y/n out and whatnot, but I was in a rush to give you guys more content. I'll probably have it up after Seasons Dreaming, saved somehow, somewhere. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this clumsy little imagine.
