Your best friend Johnny was lying on your couch, groaning. It was a hot summer day and the sun was beaming through the open windows. You would have appreciated the aesthetic of it if it wasn't torturing you at the moment.

"Oh shut it. . ." You grumbled, chewing on ice. The response you got was anticipated. A pillow was thrown across the room but you were quick enough to dodge it.

"Yah! Don't tell me what to do." After a few more moments of silence, Johnny spoke up again.

"I'm bored let's do something." You scoffed and sat up, crossing your arms. "And what activity do you suggest we do that doesn't involve getting burnt by the sun?" He hummed for a while, then spoke up again.

"I know! Let's go to the amusement park! We'll have so much fun that we'll forget the sun is burning us to crisps!" He jumped up and down as you stayed silent, contemplating.

"Come on~ you're no fun." He whined, his voice vibrating due to the fact he was violently jumping up and down in his seat. You frowned. "I am fun! You just spoil my mood and make me bored." Johnny smirked. "Prove it." You rolled your eyes, the corner of your lips turning ever so slightly.

"Oh that's your plan? Fine, I'll prove it to you at the amusement park." You got up and stopped him from screaming his lungs out. "Hush! My neighbors don't like me already there's no need to make them hate me because of you." He giggled and waved you off.

"Okay, okay. Get dressed, now and get some money I'll go get mine real quick." He rushed out of the door and you laughed at his childish personality today.

You walked over to your room and changed into a simple outfit, grabbing a thin pullover and some skinny jeans. You swiped some eyeliner on and combed your hair with your fingers a couple times then you grabbed your wallet, tucking it into a pocket. It wasn't a date or anything like that, right? You didn't have to dress up much. . .

The doorbell rang and you quickly went to open it, revealing a smiling Johnny. "Hey, I'm ready!" You grinned back at him. He took your wrist, making you blush. "Great! Let's go~!"

You laughed with him as you were running down the streets. You were talking on the way there and Johnny had the idea to cross things off the bucket list.

"Let's go on the biggest ferris wheel when it get's to nighttime! That's on everyone's bucket list." You guys started off with small things, then Johnny had this crazy grin on his face.

"I know! Let's go on a roller coaster that has a loop in it!" He cackled evilly and you stayed silent, a frown apparent on your face once again.

"Johnny! You know that I hate things like that." You lightly slapped him on the arm. He pointed at you, "Aha! See? No fun." He smiled triumphantly while you growled.

"Fine. Let's see who can win the most stuffed animals. Loser gives them all and pays for dinner." You challenged him. He groaned but nodded, you knew that there was still a chance you wouldn't win but you were willing to take it.

--

You finally got there and you marveled at all of the rides. There weren't this many last year. . .

All of a sudden you spotted a section of the park that had rows of mini games. You shook his arm and pointed at them. "There they are! Let's go do them now and get it out of the way." He gave you an eye smile, "I can't wait to beat you."

You noticed you were still clinging onto his arm and you blushed then let go. Johnny saw this and squealed. "Ah! Is Y/n flustered? I don't blame you, I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off of me if I was in your position, either." He joked, flexing. Your ears burned red and you pushed him. "Ah, hush."

--

You seemed to be winning nothing in the games and your hopes of a free dinner started shriveling away.

The competitions neared to an end, you having won about three games and Johnny having won about five. You pouted when you lost and the old man behind the counter laughed.

"Ah, relationships these days haven't changed. The boys always winning something for their other half." You both blushed and though you felt the need to correct him, you both just stayed still until the grandpa disappeared from behind the stand and back out again with a plushie that had a ribbon it.

"Here you go. Treat your girlfriend." He gave you both an eye smile and you politely smiled back.

You both walked side by side away from the games and walked past the galleries.

"Guess I'm paying for dinner then." You laughed a bit awkwardly, scratching the back of your neck. Johnny laughed, shaking his head.

"What are you talking about? Of course I'll be the one paying! I'm also giving you all my stuffed animals. What type of boyfriend would I be if I didn't, anyway?" He jokingly put an arm around you and you smiled, your heart clenching.

If only he wasn't really joking.

A/N:

Ahh! I'm so sorry about the fact you and JohnD weren't actually togethor hehe.

This could be taken as an imagine by itself but
I might make a part two depending on how motivated I feel and depending if people want it. I highly doubt anyone is going to see this book but I can (J)hope 🙃
