What I learned about this world
as i grew older
was that it is very cold and brutal
i had to learn that not everyone is a true friend
and when you find a true friend it's a special thing
i learned that not everyone is as nice as they may seem
i learned that my parents aren't perfect
i learned everyone makes mistakes
i learn that to live life you must and will
make many mistakes
but you must learn from all of them
i learned that family isn't as loyal as they should be
i learned that the people you love will always hurt you more
i learned to not care
i learned not to be so sensititve
i learned that life isn't all bad
and it definitely isn't all good
but at the end of the day
i'm still here and that is what i learned that is most important.
