Sonia's P.O.V

I woke early today to get to work. Working as a third-grade teacher at William Elementary School has been a dream. I haven't regretted moving here two years ago away from Seattle to where I am currently, New York. It's been a dream of mine to live here and so far it's been amazing.

Like every other day, I decided to go really simple to work, I put my long black hair in a ponytail. Took a loose white shirt from my closet, then tucked it into my black skinny jeans, and ended the look with some cream-coloured heels. As for my makeup, I went with a simple look, some foundation, bronzer and eyeliner finished it off with a clear gloss.

I looked in my bag once more making sure I had all the worksheets that I've created for the students then grabbed my phone off the counter. I quickly locked my apartment door and headed towards my car.

When I approached the school I parked my car, grabbed my things and ran inside the school. I rushed towards my classroom, I couldn't even see with all these books stacked up in my arms.

BANG! I hit something really hard and fell on my ass.

"Shit!" I cursed looking at all my books scattered on the floor.

"I don't think you should be swearing in a School filled with children," A deep muscular-voiced male said.

I immediately got up and started brushing the dust off my pants "Well excuse me how about you watch where you are-" I stopped when I finally glanced up to see who the man was. My jaw immediately dropped.

"What are you doing here?!" I spat.

He was appalled at my reaction just when he was about to say something, Mr. Smith the Principle interrupted.

"Oh Miss Richardson! Perfect timing I would like you to meet Samuel Blossom" He said beaming.

"I'm well aware of who this man is, what do we owe such a delightful surprise?" I spoke sarcastically still staring at Samuel irritated at his presence.

I've never liked this man one bit. Everything about him sends shivers down my spine. He's a rich snob that'd do anything for his fame. He and his father only care for their own benefits. Basically to explain what he is in short-form is that their rich scumbags.

The Blossoms and my parents the Richardsons were business partners back in Seattle. They ruined my father's business than to top it off, didn't give them any of my father's profits.

My fathers' company was destroyed because of them fortunately a couple of years later they succeeded to bring the company back to its place. I still don't know how but they worked some kind of an arrangement out. I try not to worry too much about my father's business, didn't want to be apart of that kind of fast-paced lifestyle.

"Miss Richardson" Mr. Smith's voice drew me back to his attention.

"Mr. Blossom was here to donate to our annual Christmas Grace Foundation" So that's why he's here. For attention, more power. Of course.

"Oh I see well thank you, Mr. Blossom, for the contribution you've made we hope to see you soon," I say with a fake smile, assuming he'd walk away. He smirks.
