I had managed to get the time off work like I wanted to just so I could go and fly out to Greece which is where the wedding was going to take place. Josh had told me that it was only going to be close friends and family at the wedding as they both had agreed on having a small gathering and then when the reception party was happening both Josh and Freya were flying from Greece to Italy and spending three weeks there together because Italy was a place that Freya had always wanted to visit and have a nice time there. I was sitting in my living room watching TV when Harry texts me saying that he was half an hour away from my house and that he would be here soon, I instantly panic because I didn't have anything decent food in and my flat was a mess so I was currently rushing round my flat trying to get everything tidied and ready for Harry I then had to clean up my spare room so it was nice and neat and all ready for him to stay in for the next few weeks. I walked into my room and got changed into some clothes for the day.

I then tied my hair up into a loose ponytail and as I was adjusting my hair there was a knock on the door I took a deep breath in and walked out of my bedroom and to my front door where I saw Harry standing in black shorts, white T-shirt and a black hat which I automatically recognised as Josh's brand 'ZRKLDN' he smiled at me and I smiled back. "How are you?" I asked him as we walked into my flat and straight into my kitchen "I'm good thanks what about you? You just kinda took off without telling anyone." Harry said as he sat on a chair "Yeah I just wasn't really liking living in London and I have family out here so I thought that coming out here would be a good idea, how's it been back home?" I asked him as I sat next to him on a chair "Well Freya and Josh got engaged." "Yeah I got an invite through the post." "Are you going to go?" He asked me "I'm thinking about it yeah, I've gotten the time off work I'm just debating whether to go or not because that means seeing everyone who I left behind." I explained to Harry who just nodded slowly in agreement "anything else happen?" I asked him quickly "Not really no." Harry replied to me "Oh right. I didn't ask did you get invited to the wedding?" I asked Harry "Yeah I did I'm definitely going." "Ah cool so what does your girlfriend think of you flying out to America to stay here with me for a couple of weeks?" I asked him as I took a sip of my drink that I had made for myself and one for Harry too just in case he was thirsty at all "*laughs a little* what makes you think that I have a girlfriend?" He asked me "I was just assuming that's all." I say "Alright well what shall we do then?" Harry asks me very quickly changing the subject "I could show you round Santa Monica if you want?" I offered to him, Harry nodded and very quickly we set off into my car and started to drive around Santa Monica together.
Harry and I stopped off a little restaurant on the pier so that we could get some food for our lunch, we walked inside and ordered our food and we both agreed to eat outside in the warm air. "You said you have family out here?" Harry questioned me by making small talk as he took a sip from his drink "Yeah my older sister Val and her husband have their two kids Mason and Oakley out here so one of the reasons I moved was to see them." I said "How old are they?" He asked me "Oakley and Mason are 16 months old what about you do you have any brothers and sisters?" I asked Harry "I have an older brother and that's it really." Harry told me and just as he did the food that we had ordered arrived and was placed in front of us. Harry and I got on so well he was always making me laugh throughout the dinner and after we had finished and vice versa really; we just got on really well. When Harry and I eventually finished our meal it was starting to get a lot darker and I had the idea that we should both go and walk along the pier and go on some of the rides, while we were walking Harry asked me a question "Raye I just wondered and I know we don't really know each other that well I just wanted to know if you would be my date to the wedding?" He asked a little shy "Yes course I will." I smiled as I felt the blush form across my cheeks when out of nowhere Harry hugged me and smiled a little at me afterwards.

We got back to my flat and the both of us were extremely tired so I showed Harry to the spare room where he was staying, I helped carry some of his things into the room. "Well I'm going to bed so good night." I smiled at Harry before I left him in the room, I then walked into the kitchen to get myself a glass of water to take to bed with me, I placed the water on my bedside table as I got changed into my pyjamas and very quickly drifted off to sleep.
