each day, i see him outside of the library after school. talking with his friends. always wishing that he would notice me and talk to me. but i dont think that day would come.

flashback

"ugh. why am i always late to class?" once again i was getting late for class. i was running and checking the time on my phone at the same time, not paying attention to anyone around.

i bump into someone. i was about to fall down but that person pulled me towards them. i looked up and saw a tall guy with light brown hair. his hazel eyes looked into my eyes with concern.

"i'm sorry! are you okay?" he said.

i tried to reply to him but i couldn't get the words out. instead i just nod. we pull apart and go our separate ways to our classes.

"oh my gosh! you two are so adorable! i ship it!" my friend yelled as she walked up to me.

"what? no! i don't even know him."

"his name is shawn. he is a senior here."

"then why are you shipping me with him? he is a senior and i am a sophomore. he probably forgot about me by now."

"you never know what will happen." she said with a smirk.

since that day my friends wouldn't stop teasing me whenever he's around me. the more i thought about it, i started to like him. everywhere i go, i see him.

i convince myself that i'm over him but then i end up liking him even more. why does this happen?

i can't fall for him. he is not gonna be here next year and it's gonna hurt me to see him leave.

but i can't control my feelings. after all he is just a crush.
