Evena had fallen asleep reading a stray book lying around. She woke up to a slightly ajar door and a vicious grumbling in her belly. Her mother always did surprising things. Evena rolled her eyes at the door and got up. Heading to the kitchen. It was nearly 9am and by the slightly ajar door, Evena would be going to school. Her mum sat at the table with a newspaper in her hand.

Evena made some pancakes and just as she was adding cream to them her mother's crisp voice cut the silence, "I won't be here tomorrow all day, i will drop you off and you'll have to catch the bus," she explained, not taking her eyes of the paper. "Yes mother," Evena said before taking off to her room. She couldn't go to the woods, the longing grew painful as she ate.

Corina street wasn't too far away from the school. So she could take the bus home and then walk back and take her clothes in a bag. That'll do, Evena sighed, even though the walk would be long. She should hire a taxi? Yes. Evena went to her phone and hired one for 4:30. Evena crept in to her mother's room where she was sleeping and recorded down the credit card details.

Evena grinned. All for Jay.
